Emma awoke with a gasp. The cold beads of sweat rolling down her forehead and neck. She blindly reached for her water bottle and took a few large gulps. She sighed and noticed a few stray tears on her face. She quickly wiped them and tried not to think about her dream.

Emma's POV (4 hours later)
I woke up once more, but this time to the sound of my alarm. I got out of bed and hastily got dressed. That dream really got to me.

I shook my head and thought about school and ballet. Ballet. I absolutely love to dance. It's been my passion since I was two. I knew that as soon as I stepped into Miss Fisher's School of Dance, that I was made for dancing.

I walked down the very large spiral staircase of my home and said good morning to a few of the maids.

My father inherited millions from his father, and it's pretty cool to be rich. I'm not a bitch,(I can be if I want to) I'm just saying that it's nice to have everything at your disposal.

I sat down at the breakfast table and played with my toast.

"Good morning Emma!" My mom exclaimed cheerfully,

"Morning Mom." I didn't sound nearly as enthusiastic as she.

"What's wrong dear? Daddy's coming home from Belgium today." I sighed. My father is David Nolan, he's always on huge business trips. My mother is Mary Margaret Nolan, and she's a happy housewife. They are very supportive of me and my dance, but they just don't understand me.

"Eat your food Emma." She said in a stern voice.

"I just, I had this dream, and it's gotten me shaken up," I finally said.

"Well what kind of dream?" Where to start?

"In my dream, there was this girl. She was under a curse and she needed true love to break the spell. She found it, but her prince fell for the wrong girl. She killed herself." My mom didn't seem to care or even be listening,

"Did you even hear what I said?"

"Yeah, you were telling me about your dream." I rolled my eyes and got up,

"I'm gonna be late for school. I'll see you later okay? Be home around six or seven depending on how long Jefferson wants me to practice." Mom nodded and I grabbed the keys to my white Jaguar.

Jefferson is my dance instructor. I stayed with Miss Fisher until I was eleven, but she directed me to Jefferson when I started doing point.

Jefferson is very young. Twenty three to be precise. I'm only seventeen. He's very ambitious, and opened up his own school when he was eighteen. Now here we are.

I pulled up to school and walked to my locker to find my best friends there. August, Ruby, and Regina. When I say best friends, I mean my best friends at school. I have some good friends at the studio too.

"Hey guys! How was your weekend?" They said good and I looked at August with puppy eyes.

"Oh hell no, no Emma." I kept giving him pleading looks until he relented. He turned around and I hopped on his back,

"To English!" We all laughed and August set me down.

There is nothing romantic between us. August is basically my brother, plus he's dating Ruby.

Regina rolled her eyes and whispered,

"It's the wannabe bitch guys." We groaned, knowing it was gonna be Tink. Her real name is Rosetta Bell, but she looks like the damn fairy and her last name is Bell.
