One day in early summer, a baby girl lies in a bed with pillows around her. Where she lies, in a dining room, without windows and air conditioning. In another room sits her brother. He's locked in the room day and night. The door is only opened when their parent gives him food. Trash is piled high and there are cockroaches everywhere. There were two more brothers they were in the living room with three of their cousins. The mother of the four children was around the house and the father has been dead for at least one month. This day, July 17, a social worker came to check in on the three cousins. Once she saw everything she swiftly walks back outside and calls the police. The police arrive and helped take all the children to get checked out at the emergency room. The social worker arrives at the emergency room with clothes and diapers for the children. Her supervisor suggests for her to take two of the children to a loving family because they have kept foster children in the past. When at the house, the family immediately fell in love with them. Hence, saving their lives.
