Georgia raced around her room in her underwear, throwing dresses and shoes on her bed, matching up different outfits and dragging out her jewelry boxes. Today was the day, the day her most favored subject would be arriving. She had to look her best.
"Your majesty?"
Georgia spun around to see a young maid staring at her, with a small smile.
"Yes?"
"Samantha Seabury has arrived."
The maid jumped a little when Georgia let out an unexpected shriek.
"GOOD GOD I'M NOT READY YET"
"Calm down your majesty! I'll help you if you wish!"Georgia didn't even take the time to say yes as she grabbed the maids arm and dragged her towards the bed.
"Help me choose an outfit while I put my stockings and heels on. Make sure it's red."The maid nodded and frantically got to work searching through the dresses to find the "perfect" one.
Meanwhile, Samantha was pretty much ready to go, and was just about to walk into the throne room. The only part of her that wasn't ready was herself. She might've looked pretty and tidy on the outside, but on the inside she was a nervous wreck. What if she said something offensive, or even worse, she did something embarrassing? She decided to taker her mind off of the topic for a moment by looking at the scenery. She then took a deep breath and pushed the large door leading to the main room open. The door slammed behind her, ushering her forward and making her gasp. She looked behind her for a moment, then turned back to look in front of her. What she saw confused her. There was no one in the room except two guards beside the throne. She stood there, pursing her lips unsure of what to do. After a few minutes of tottering patiently on her heels, the door to the right side of the room flew open and the Queen flurried in.
"Welcome, Samantha!" Georgia exclaimed, rushing over to the smaller female with open arms. Samantha looked around to make sure there wasn't any other Samanthas, (as if there were, she was just thinking too much) and began to turn red when she looked back at the queen, who gave her a large hug. Her face was burning, because she felt something (I wonder what it could be) squishy against her chest. I'm sure we all know what that is. Samantha was internally scolding herself for noticing that.
All the things you can see about her majesty, and you nOTICE THAT SAMANTHA YOU'RE TERRIBLY RUD-
She didn't get to finish her thoughts because Georgia pulled away and asked her a question.
"I hope you enjoyed the trip here. I took forever, but that's not the point now. Would you like to sit beside me at the Royal Ball tonight?"Well that escalated quickly. Sam knew she couldn't say no. As if she WOULD say no, HA.
"Of course your highness."
