"Uh . . . hi Mom. Uh, I gotta . . . tell you something . . ." I stammer into the phone. Niall has a supportive hand on my knee, and Liam is sitting next to me; hot breath trickling down my neck. I gulp. How in the world am I surrounded by the two most attractive men I've ever met? I don't even know.

I must have done something right in my life if out of millions of fans; I was sitting here with One Direction. I couldn't shake the thoughts out of my head. They kept flooding in . . .

"Yes, hunny?" Mom's voice chimes. This was it.

"Well, you see . . . I, you know, sort of . . . er . . ." I can't get rid of the lump in the back of my throat. Liam puts a pand on my shoulder and massages it slowly. Now I'm seriously dying inside.

"What is it?" Mom's voice rings into my ear again.

"I'mstayingwiththeboysforthesummer." I say quickly. Thank god I got it out . . .

"Babe, I can't understand you." Mom says.

You got to be kidding me.

"I. AM. STAYING. WITH. onedirectionforthesummer." My voice comes out rushed again. Damn it, i'm not very good at admitting things.

"Sweetheart, what are you trying to say?" Mom's says soothingly.

I clench my jaw. I inhale slowly through my nose and open my mouth.

"Mom, I'm staying with One Direction for the summer." I say slowly; making sure I pronounce everything perfectly. And understandably.

"WHAT?!" her voice echos through the phone. Liam and Niall jump back in shock.

I wince at the sound of her voice. Oh god. She isn't happy.

"They offered, and they really think I can get somewhere with my singing, and there my friends and -" I try to start.

"So you're saying that you're going to travel with them all summer while I don't even get to see my baby girl?" Great. Now she's trying to make me feel guilty.

"We can videochat. And call each other. And it's not like I can't visit once in awhile. It's practically like me being at school." I say. Niall and Liam nod there heads reassuringly, even if she can't see them.

"No. You're dating one, aren't you?" she says bitterly. I flush red.

"N-N-No M-M-Mo-m I-I a-am n-not d-dati-n-ng a-any o-of th-them." I try to say strictly, but my voice goes weak.

"LIAR!" she screams.

Niall and Liam start to back away slowly.

"Liar Liar pants are fire!" she teases. God, she was childish.

"No. I'm not dating any. And that won't change. And just so you know, Niall and Liam are sitting right next to me nodding their heads. Isn't that right-" I turn to see Niall and Liam's faces drooping. No way - they didn't like me. Pfft. They were just joking around.

"Yep. They said no dating!" I say firmly. Even though they didn't say a word. They just sat there gawking at the phone.

"Good. But hunny, if you like any of them you can tell me . . . I mean,-" she starts.
