I knocked on Oliver's apartment door and waited for him to answer. I looked at the painting that was beside his door in the hallway, it was abstract kind of art, my mother would love that.

My mom opened her own gallery in Florida and she is planning on opening another one in L.A if she really wants to, but she doesn't know if she wants to have all kinds of galleries around the world, she says she thinks she just wants one gallery so it will be more special when someone wants their painting in her gallery. And if I haven't told you already my mom is a famous artist, well she was until she started suffering from dementia.

I hear the door creek open and I look away from the painting to look at Oliver. He looks at me strangely then looks over to the painting.

"You like it?" He asks. I shrug. "I don't think it goes with the wallpaper, but it's good on its own," He says. I smile and nod.

"I agree," I say and smirk, he looks down and smiles and shows these cute dimples on the side of his cheeks.

"Well would you like to come in?" He says. I nod and follow him into his apartment.

"Nice," I say. As I look around.

"Thanks," He chuckles putting his hands in his black jeans walking over to his computer. "Do you want a drink?" He says sitting down in his black leather desk chair.

"Uh, sure," I say.

"There wine in the fridge if you want it, help yourself," He says starting to type on his computer. I go into the fridge and get the wine. I also ask him for a glass then fill it up. I take a sip as I am walking over to him.

"Ok, can you bring up surveillance tape from the court house?" I ask. He nods, and soon enough the video is playing on his computer. I watched it almost three times, I kept telling him to replay it. Until I finally found what I was looking for.

"Stop. Rewind," I say. "Stop." I say leaning on his desk. "Can you blow it up?" I ask.

"Course," He says and hits a few buttons then the motion picture becomes bigger.

"Right there! See that? Her wrist," I say. He leans closer to the computer.

"It looks like an ordinary wrist," He says. I sigh and roll my eyes.

"No. Fast forward a little," I say and he does as he is told. "Stop. There, blow up her wrist," I say and point to a marking on her wrist. He looks at it, but doesn't say anything for a while.

"Connor, that could easily just be a shadow," He says.

"No it can't!" I say.

"Connor, look, her wrist is just showing from behind her skirt. So... if someone did mess with this tape... and that's a big if... then they did a really good job," Oliver says.

"But you can obviously tell-"

"Not exactly. I mean you can show it to Annalise, but she is just going to say the same thing as me," He says. I scratch my head and put my finger on my lip.

How was I going to prove this? I could clearly tell that it was a tattoo that wasn't in the clip before. But he was right, it could just be a shadow.

"Ok.... Then we don't need to find the full tape... we need to find the original. Let's go," I say. And start walking to the door, Oliver following closely behind.
*~*

"Listen, I really don't want to bother Annalise," Oliver says loudly as he follows me through the busy streets of Philadelphia. I turn around quickly and lean into his ear.

"Listen, I really don't want to bother your neighbours tonight," I say. He blushes and gulps. "Now let's go," I smirk and keep walking until we get to Annalise's government office.

I knock on the door as Oliver stands beside me. I notice him staring at me out of the corner of my eye.

"Oliver?" I say.

"Yeah?"

"Are you staring at me?" I ask.

"Yes," He says and I can feel the smile on his lips.

"Stop," I say.

"Gotcha," He says. I turn to look at him and he looks straight In a swift motion, like I wouldn't notice. I smirk. I can see his cheeks redding by the second.

He is kinda of cute, but I don't really think anything serious could come from us. I have never been in a real relationship since I came out as gay. My longest relationship was with this girl, her name was Olive. Olive Sred. We were together for almost three years, until she finally called me out on checking out guys every time we went out together. We are still great friends, her dad is actually helping my mom build her art gallery.

"Gentleman," Annalise says after she opens the door.

"Hi.... we have something to show you," I say. She invited us into her house and now she is watching the tape.

"See! If you look, you can see that there is a tattoo on her wrist, and there, there isn't!" I say. She sighs and closes the laptop.

"Mr. Walsh, I was expecting more from you. I didn't think you would waste my time on a silly error in the camera quality," She says to me, smoothing out her dress.

"But.. there is nothing on her wrist in the first clip, and the next clip, her wrist is hidden and I think there is a tattoo on her wrist," I say.

"Can you actually prove that?" She asks. I sigh and think for a moment.

"Do you have access to the body?"
