"The Meeting"

Mom and I had just moved to Seoul. After Dad had died things have been rough, and nobody has been as happy as they have been before. It just seems so still, so quiet and peaceful, yet depressing at the same time. We all missed dad, especially mom.  We had decided to move away from memories that would remind him of us, mom had told us that it was too much to bare. They've been together for 20 years, and I couldn't imagine how much my mom must have been hurt. She, without a doubt was in the most pain of us all. And school started tomorrow, new school and mom always insists of making friends, but I doubt that would happen.

I arrived at the school and entered into the office. "Hello, can I help you?" The office lady asked. "I'm Jenna, Jenna Park. I'm new here." I responded. "Ah yes! Here is your schedule, and Ms. Lee will show you to your first class." I bowed and thanked her and I followed Ms. Lee. As we reached to a stop, Ms. Lee told the teacher to come out of the door to talk to her. The teacher smiled at me when Ms. Lee had told her I was her new student. "My name is Ms. Kwan, I'll be your English teacher. You can come inside and introduce yourself to the class." I walked inside behind Ms. Kwan as she told my new classmates that I was new. I bowed and introduced myself to my best ability to be the least awkward as I could while smiling. "Hello, I'm Jenna Park. Please take care of me." Everyone was silent and I felt awkward just standing there with everyone's eyes on me. "Okay Jenna, you can sit next to Moonbin. He's in the back by the window where the empty seat is." I went and sat next to Moonbin and he smiled kindly to me.

We kinda just sat there, not a word was spoken for a whole hour in that class. I looked at my schedule and I noticed that I have chorus next. But I don't even sing, and I can't sing. I apologize to everyone in advance for my horrible voice. I just hope I won't sing the first day. "Hey, Jenna, right?" I turn to my right and it's Moonbin. I nodded and he smiled. "If you need me to show you to your next class I can show you the way if you would like." Those were the first words he's spoken to me. In fact, those were the first words he's spoken to anyone so from what I know. "Yes, that would be nice. Thank you." I was so happy that I wasn't going to get lost. The bell rung and I showed him my schedule. "Follow me." I followed him as I watched which turns we took. When we came to a stop I thanked him. "We have the same lunch time. Feel free to sit with me if you like." We both smiled. I thanked him again and entered the class after he walked away.

It was getting boring, and I had not spoken to anyone other thank three teachers and Moonbin today. Not even my mom, she's always too tired in the morning to even speak and she's always in her room anyways. "Hi, you must be new. What's your name?" I look over to see a girl. "Yes, I'm Jenna. What's yours?" She seemed nice, maybe I'll make a friend after all. "My name is Choi Yewon, but you can just call me Arin. I don't know if you know me, but I'm in the girl group Cupid." She smiled proudly. Seems to be a bit of a show off but at least shes nice. "What year are you?" She asked about my age. "01. You?" She smiled happily. "I'm a 99 liner. You can call me unnie!" She replied happily. I smiled back, knowing she might just really be a friend of mine. We talked for a while and she told me about the school, apparently there's a lot of Kpop idols that go here. Well, 99 liners usually as the seniors here. The bell rang and I found my way to lunch. I didn't know anybody so I searched for Moonbin. "Jenna!" I turned around and saw Moonbin walking up to me. "Are you going to sit with me?" I nodded. He smiled and then I followed him. We approached a table with two other guys, one of them I have chorus with. "Hey guys, this is Jenna. She's my new friend." He introduced me to his friends. "Hello, my name is Park Minhyuk, but you can call me Rocky." One with brown hair said. The one with orange hair didn't say anything, he just looked at me. "That's Sanha, Yoon Sanha." Moonbin spoke for him. I smiled at them and we sat down, I sat next to Moonbin and in front of Sanha.

During lunch, Moonbin kept saying that he wished Jungkook was with him, a guy he trained with for a while. Which I was surprised he was training. But he told me that the three of them were all in a group called ASTRO. They had showed me their latest M/V and I liked it. After lunch, it was off to my last classes of the day before heading home. We all said our farewells and headed to our classes. I had to walk to the other side of the school, it felt like forever but I eventually made it just on time. I walked into the class and sat down next to a guy. When class started, it got boring. I didn't like math, I've always been so bad at it. No matter how much I try to get it, I just don't. I was struggling with this assignment a lot, I just hope the teacher doesn't make us go up to the board like other teachers do. "Do you need help?" I was so surprised I almost jumped up out of my seat. I looked to my side and it was the guy I had sat next to. I read his name tag, "Kang Chani."

[A/N] Sorry if it was a short chapter, this is my first, well, sort of. I started two others before on another account but I lost the passwords so I can't finish them. But this is going to be my first completed one hopefully.😄 I dont know how often I'll post but I'll try the best to my ability.
