Once upon a best friend

Did I leave or stay ? Part 1

(At the Airport)
5:32am
Waiting by the window where I could see the planes take off, I asked myself , did I make the right decision. I saw some people at their gate and their plane take off. The sadness on their faces made me think do I want to take off like a plane, and leave my friends sad and hopeless. I returned to the window where I pondered.
8:00am
Well our flight was delayed. Was that a sign, is the universe trying to tell me to stay. At the corner of my eye I saw 5 awfully familiar girls running past security. Wait is that Abigail, Shani, Zeah, Naomi and Kaya. I quickly drop my things and started running to wards them.
8:01am
After one minute of trying to catch them, we bent the corner and stopped. "Guys what are you doing, y'all could be in so much trouble" I said
"We hoped you would have a last minute change of mind" Abby returned
I continued preaching about how much trouble they could me in.
Well we saw security, we purchased hats from the nearest hat store and returned to my gate without security spotting us.
8:05am
(Dang that airport is really big it took is 4 minutes to get from gate 10- 2)
Anyway we returned to my gate and of course my mom was astonished. " Girls what are you doing here?" My mom asked.
I stopped her and said "Mom I have made my decision, I choose to.....
