Not So Baby Steps

It is very weird being able to remember everything from birth. I can remember being carried to my new home for the first time. My new mother and father, who I had yet to hear names for and their ecstatic smiles as they opened the door and I peered inside. As I looked inside I saw stairs leading to a second floor and a living room. There was an empty fireplace and a single couch that was the size of two in the shape of an upper case L. The walls were all chestnut colored with several pictures along them.
There is nothing much to say about the first few years really though. I eventually found out their names Michael and Lindsey with their last name being Stone. I couldn't do much yet as my body was not developed enough yet. Having grown to the age of 16 I was almost considered an adult on Earth. This was a pretty significant shift very quickly. Especially since my brain did not degrade along with so I had the same memories as when I died. I would make sure to remember these years though. I don't know when it is but the fall of Beacon is a possibility and I don't know if they will survive.
So I make the times last with them. My first birthday with them was a fond memory. All three of us just happy to be with each other. Having my head pushed into the cake wasn't that pleasant, but spending time with them was always nice.
At the age of three I started showing that I wanted to become a hunter. I had always known that Michael was a hunter but I soon learned that Lindsey was as well. Both used swords as their main weapons with my father having a katana blade and my mother wielding a greatsword. I would always go towards the weapons hoping they would get the message. Though I didn't even hear the word Grimm from them once until I was five when my father accidentally said it. I asked what they were and got that they were monsters that lived under my bed. Internally I called bull.
So I've gotten no training from my parents to be hunters. While Grimm has been a forbidden word but hunter and their school which, was Beacon, were not. Thus I would constantly say that I wanted to go there. They would hear none of it and I heard them talking to someone at least once or twice a week over the phone. Ozpin has been mentioned, so I can only guess what's actually going on Remnant. Oum knows I'll need help. I actually just thought that. I've read way too many RWBY fanfictions.

A/N I actually meant for this to come out earlier but found out Grimm Eclipse came out on consoles. On a note actually pertaining to the story, the chapters will get longer. These first few are kinda the set up and use my own ideas. As it is personally my weak point once again sorry for the short chapters.
