But I'm not dead, although the others may think I am, but I'm not! It's has after all been five years, so I can see why they thought I was dead
I've changed so much, I'm meaner , stronger, older and much more powerful. Will they except me? They are my family, my guild after all , but they have most likely gotten over me . I will probably be the outcast who came back with no warning. Besides they must have changed and so has the world. I just don't think I'm ready to walk into the guild. While it was true I wanted go in and hug them all I can't.
Perhaps just a peek in.....
I quiet opened the guild doors enough to peek inside much to my surprise was that everyone looked the same, but what didn't surprise me was that there was a huge fight going on.
"Hey Gajeel do you smell something familiar?" I heard a familiar voice ask, it was Natsu!
Oh shoot I have to leave I'm not ready!
Before I could listen anymore I darted off at an inhuman speed using my new 'Sky Dragon Enhance Stamina' spell that I have been working on.
I ran all throughout Magnolia not knowing where to go or what to do.
To my surprise Magnolia barely changed at all.
Much to my delight I saw my favorite café just ahead, I can go in there and wash up on the bathroom, or at least wash my face and get something to eat, but I don't have any money.
I walked in getting a few stares from people most likely due to my clothes.
I walked into the private restroom they had in the back of the café, and the first thing I did was wash my face.
I was splashing water on my face when I suddenly looked up into the mirror.
Is that me?
I look so different..... I'm taller, my chest has gotten much bigger, my eyes for some reason has turned a lighter blue color, but most of all....my hair. It's become much longer and it is a lot lighter than it used to be.
I can barely recognize myself. All if those years really did a number on me huh?
Of course they did nobody would expect that to happen to someone and for them to come out the same as they did before.
I stepped out of the bathroom all washed up and exited the café with no stares this time.
I need new clothes but I don't have money. I could.....steal something, but might get caught. Nah, I won't I have a few tricks up my sleeve, hehe.
I walked through Magnolia looking for a clothing store, and then settling on a crowded one.
I sneaked through the back exit where no one would see me, I looked around before grabbing a dark purple tight half cut down shirt with a black tank top under it along with a short black skirt and long boots.
I snuck into a dressing room and quickly changed and then put my hair into a side braid. After that I snuck out if the store.
Okay Wendy deep breaths, deep breaths.
"Oh the Grand Magic Games are approaching I wonder if Fairy Tail will be competing" I heard a man say, " Well if they are, the games will be really exciting," someone else answered.
" YEAH 792 GMGS will rock!"
792? But it's been five years!
Perhaps the time flowed differently where I was at? Yeah that must be it.
Only one year huh?
Maybe my friends still remember me then....
I smiled to myself and walked off to the guild hall.
I wonder if they will be shocked over the the fact that I looks and personality are both different.
I'm not afraid anymore...this is who I am now!!
On my way to the guild hall I began to wonder if anyone is dating *cough* Natsu and Lucy *cough*.
I stopped at the doors of the guild hall, but looked down at my grave.
And they gave up hope so quickly.....
I bent put my hand on the stone and smiled sadly.
My life is just starting.....
" Hey you there what do you think you're doing?!" I heard a voice none other than Erza's.
"U-uh I w-as just..."
Damn't!
" Not another word! Get inside!"
She grabbed me by the collar and dragged me inside which immediately caught the attention of the rest of the guild.
Great.
"What do we have here Erza?" Makarov asked her.
"I found her lurking outside if the guild hanging around the grave!" She answered.
All eyes went back to me, I however got weird looks from Natsu and Gajeel.
" What is it?" Erza asked the two, " She just smells very familiar...." Natsu answered.
She dragged me over to the two, who started smelling me.
"Get away!!" I nervously kicked Natsu in the face.
Oops...
Everyone got their guard up.
This time Erza put a sword to my neck and ordered me to stay still while the others investigated me.
Natsu's eyes widened and he backed away, "It can't be-Wendy?..."
Every one gasped whole Erza let the sword lower.
A single tear rolled down my eye "Yeah...".
I was immediately tackled in a whole bunch if hugs by my guild mates.
But then I saw a girl with white hair ears and a tail standing in front of me with her eyes filled with tears.
"Wendy....?" She spoke with such a familiar voice.
".....Carla?" I asked shocked.
"Yeah..." She mimicked what I had said before.
I ran to hug her bit even paying attention over the fact that she was human.
"Hey Wendy? What happened?" Lucy asked while the guild gathered around.
I sighed and released Carla from her hug.
"Oh you know being sucked in through a vortex and brought to another dimension yeah yeah yeah, did you repaint the ceilings?"
"Wendy this is serious!" Levy spoke up,"And why do you look so much older?".
"Nothing I care to talk about, but my age is also a question. I can only assume time flowed differently where was." I said with anger and disgust in my voice due to the fact that I lost so much of my life.
They all nodded and decided not to ask further questions.

"Listen up brats! We are having a party in order to celebrate our dear Wendy's return, so drink and fight your hearts out!" Master yelled on the second floor.
The rest of the guild erupted into cheers, but I just swear dropped at his little 'speech'.
The guild was having fun either drinking talking or fighting, I had occasional conversations but I just sat out with Carla talking to her and catching up.
All in all I was still having a pretty good time until Natsu decided to butt in.
"Hey Wendy why won't you tell us what happened?! Come in I wanna know!" Natsu yelled causing the guild to stop what they were doing and stare.
" Natsu like I said I don't wanna talk about it." I replied calmly trying to ignore the fact that he didn't understand.
"Also what's with your getup? The Wendy I know would never dress like that!" He said.
I tried my best to ignore my wanting to lunch him, but it was so hard. They tried getting him to stop but he just kept talking!
My head started landing and I couldn't hear right, I was pretty sure I could ignore it before he put his hand on my shoulder.
"Oi Wen-", I interrupted him, " Because I'm not the girl you knew! I've changed, I'm different. Accept it!" I yelled.
The guild seemed shocked by my blow out while Carla comforted me.
"Carla can we head to Fairy Hills?" I asked her.
"Sure Wendy let's go." We exited the guildhall and began walking to Fairy Hills.
Normal POV
The others scolded Natsu for his behavior while he hung hid head in shame.
"Natsu you shouldn't have asked any questions, she said she didn't want to talk about it." Lucy scolded.
"Sorry Luce.."
"Wendy will open up when it's time, so let's not ask any further. She's been through a lot, she needs time." Makarov sighed "So until then let's PARTY!" He yelled happily and everyone cheered and drank.
