I'm not proud of the feathers around his neck and on his left/right hoof (the shaded one) but... eh. I have this headcanon/idea that the amount of feathers they have on their heads (3, for example) would be how old they are, so they would get one every 1,000 years or somewhere around there.
random fun facts: the fur on his back and around his wing(s) is supposed to resemble fire, and the feather in the middle is shorter than the others and somewhat damaged because of an attack from an Akhlut (Russia). The reason I did this was because of inspiration from a few fanfictions I read on Archive of our Own
