chapter seventeen

"Look I'm sorry for what happened before."

Jaemin sighed in response, "Hyung I told you it's okay, what happened happened, all that matters is what's going to happen next."

"Can you be good to Ana for me?"

"Of course, you already know I have your back--"

"--can you be good to her as her person is what I had meat...she obviously likes you." Taeyong cuts in.

"Oh," was all that he could say, why was his heart doing this?

Then and right there was when Taeyong knew he could trust him. They were bros after all. Hyung and dongsaeng.

Slipping on a skater skirt and grey sweater, she checked to see if she looked alright.  Afterwards she re-applied lip tint and asked Tzuyu if she looked 'presentable' for the tenth time. 

"Yah, you look nice, it's his fault if he can't see it, I'll jab his eyeballs if I have to," Tzuyu snarled.

"Nono or else I won't have a boy frie-" she paused, was she really about to call him her boyfriend? She could feel her face heat up.

"Wahhh your really something Anasia Park, even blushing, tsk tsk."

The door bell goes off and so does Anasia's feet who wasn't yet clothed, totally barefoot. 

"H-hey," Jaemin looked a bit different today, was it his hair? Or the mood?

"Hi!" she couldn't find the right tone to greet him and instead blurted out on him. 

"Let's head out now, or like after you put on your shoes..." he peered down.

Looking down and embarrassed she sprints towards the shoe rack. 

"By the way you look nice!"

"Thanks!" 

She slipped on a pair of white converse and left.

Jaemin's Point Of View

Should I grab her hand? Wait grabbing is too violent. Hug? Dude what do I do. 

"So, um where are we going?" she asks while cutely playing with her hair. 

"So there's going to be an event where they show movie hits at the theater."

"What movie?"

"Secretly Greatly."

I become startled by her sudden squeels, "Oh my god! The one with Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Hyun Woo my oppas!--oh I'm sorry."

"It's alright," I give her a weak smile, this Lee Hyun Woo dude better watch out.

It had come to the movies rolling credits and Jaemin was engulfed in tears. Believe it or not he was the one being comforted not the other way around. 

"That was so beautiful bravo bravo," a few people would think he was crazy for this behavior but luckily the theater had been cleared out for a while. 

"Na Jaemin I never ever imagined this would be how my first date would go," she says giggling at how he became such a sissy. 

After drying his tears the two decided to head out into the snack bar area where a claw machine was in sight. 

"Which one do you want?" he asks all confident.

"The Ryan bear one," she replies jumping. 

After about six tries he still hadn't gotten the bear. 

"Jaemin let's just leave, you don't need to waste your money-"

"-no I said I'll get you it so I'm getting it"

He failed again.

"It's rigged see, come on," she tries to forcefully drag him. 

"No, I read somewhere on wattpad that the boy should always get the girl he likes a plushy from a claw machine!"

The bear is finally trapped in the claws and is successfully caught.

"See! I got it!-w-why are you looking at me like that?" He asks, as she glares at him.

"The girl he likes," and "Somewhere on wattpad eh?"

"I love you??" he questionly says.

"NA JAEMIN YOU'VE PLANNED THIS DATE BASED OFF A WATTPAD FIC YOU READ?! NOTHING IN FICS EVER REALLY HAPPEN AND THAT ISNT HOW IT GOES."

He speedingly dashed towards the exit in hopes of not being killed vowing to never reenact a wattpad scene. What a first date.
