Rachel returned home to find that Joey had already replaced the lock on the door. She dumped her handbag down, and took out the new green gel pen she had bought earlier that day. She went to the bookshelf and put it with all of her other gel pens. Rachel turned around and looked around the room. She took in how quiet it was without Joey, and the fact that she didn't like being there by herself. She thought that she have overreacted, but she was scared. Rachel thought about what had happened, and finally decided that nobody had stolen her pen, and that maybe the lock was broken by accident. She also decided that the noises she heard were perhaps creaks in the wall, like Monica had suggested. Rachel walked over to the window and opened it, breathing in the fresh air.
Joey suddenly entered the apartment and looked around for Rachel. He rested his eyes on her, sitting by the window.
"Hey Rach, Monica's doing dinner, c'mon", He said, before leaving again.
Rachel sighed and stood up. She left the apartment, double checked to make sure that the door was locked, and entered the apartment across the hall to join her friends.

"AAAHHHHHHH! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! OH MY GOD!"
Monica, Chandler, Joey, Ross and Phoebe all burst into Rachel and Joey's apartment. Rachel was by the bookshelf, once again brandishing her pens around.
"Rachel! What's wrong?"
"I KNEW IT! GUYS I BOUGHT A NEW PEN TODAY AND NOW IT'S GONE! THE THEIF STOLE IT!", Rachel was screaming for the whole building to hear.
