Augustine never wanted to be in this family reunion.
Yep... Friday the 13th...
Her cousins, who used to be smaller than her, grew big after so many year of not meeting up much. But since they never really saw each other, it was new to her.
"How's the school dearie?" One of her aunts, Diane, asked her.
"Uhmmm..." Augustine said first. "I-i'm doing fine! I may not be the top 1, but I'm doing the best!"
With a small 'oof', she saw her mother glaring at her.
Diane just giggled while eating her food on the plate. "Oh well! My niece is such a good girl! Unlike her mother" she muttered the last part as Augustine tilt her head innocently. "MY DEAR!! Why won't you go sit beside your cousin?" Diane's loud voice making her son flinch and went beside Augustine.
"Gabe! How old are you? OMG!! Before you are such a young kid!! You are also smaller than August! But now, you're taller and also bigger!"
"What do you expect from him? He has a crush, he needs to be handsome as you can see" Gabe's father, Joey, said.
Augustine's mother, Liel, along with Diane and the other aunt, Cindy, laughs.
Gabe was flustered and poke out his tounge.
"He may be a build-up man, but he still acts like a kid." Augustine's another cousin, Tim, said seriously. His girlfriend, Jen, giggled just like a fan girl.
"I thought August will be all girly girly but... Why does she wear like that?" Her another uncle, Dirk, asks as he use the fork and point at her.
Leil smiled at his big brother. "It was just her type"
"Oh..."
And the whole lunch was full of stories and laughter.

Augustine plopped down her bed and her bags of full bought things fall. "Damn... My feet hurts..." She faced her pillow and muffled a scream.
FUCKING PLASTIC!!!
She sat up and took her ipad as she scroll at her facebook. She pressed the button to return home and went to youtube to watch Cry, one of the famous youtuber, and his youtube.
She laughed at one of his moments.
"AUGUST! HELP YOUR BROTHER CARRY THIS THINGS!" Leil shouted downstairs as Augustine groaned and took some tanktop and shorts.
She changed her clothes into her chosen ones and tied her hair into a bun.
She walk downstairs and look at her mother putting the gifts along with the groceries in its proper places.
After that, she went to her room to find some rest. She took her ipad again and scroll at the facebook posts.
Her eyes widened as she saw the posts.

Augustine took her journal and pen as she click the photo on her ipad.
Her teacher's skin was being peeled of as her eyesockets are bleeding since there are no eyeballs on it. Her hands are arranged in a form of 'ready to swim' while her feet are sewn together like a mermaid. Her mouth was open to see that her tounge was cut off and her hair are mixed up with some cheap red haired wig.
She write everything on her journal then nodded.
Augustine Dsean: What is this? Some kind of fairytale?!
Nhietth Quil: Fairytale?
Augustine Dsean: You know, the original version of each fairytale? We all know our childhood was being known as a happily ever after. We didn't even know what is the real version of the story. As so you know, Mam. Ari's death is styled of as the story of Little Mermaid.
The story we knew is that she sell her voice to a sea witch to be a human and to be with her one true love.
But in a the real story, the sea witch cut off the mermaid's tounge then turned into human. But she needs to walk in pain until she gave up yadda yadda... Then her sisters knew about this so they gave her knife to kill her love but she can't do it and then she killed herself until she became a sea foam.
I don't know if this is right for what I remember. Since I'm too lazy to search.

Augustine knew that Nhietth is sweat dropping on the other line. Augustine just shaked her head and smiled.
Augustine Dsean: Well curiousity kills the cat
Nhietth Quil: You are not the cat! I am the cat
