Molly walked into her home sullenly. She'd just gotten back from the grocery store buying a few small things for dinner. It'd been a year now seince her daughter had passed. Though it was getting a lot less hard than it had started out as she was finally getting to a place where she could smile again. How ever her and Jack's relationship had been strained latly and hopefully after tonight she could try to comfort him in his bed. For a year they had not been in the same room, but tonight maybe they could try again.

Molly set the bags on the counter, Jack wouldnt be home for another two hours, so she hurried upstairs. Thats when she heard the giggling, and the low hum of a chuckle that had her inching toward her bedroom. As she aproched she saw two things, a naked woman in her bed, and her husband hovering over her for what looked like round two. Quietly Molly made her way dow the stairs.

The clock ticked by slowly and finaly the two made their way down the steps. Molly sat in the hallway that conected to the entry way, a glass of wine she'd bought for dinner in her hand. As the happy couple went down the steps she watched them kiss in frount of the door before she cleared her voice very loudly. Both turned to look at her. Jack paled slightly, and the woman Molly recognized as Tina, his assistant at work. Molly stood up slowly setting her glass down on end table.

"So, how long has this been going on Jack?" She tilted her head, "Half a year, two months? Or has this been going on for longer?" Angry tears threatened in her eyes, "Before Kate died?"

Jack pursed his lips angrily, "You know what Molly, I'm tired of this. I'm a patient man, but you expect to much of me."

"Our daughter, is dead Jack, sorry I didn't just jump back on the bandwaggon the second you wanted to 'get some'." She shook her head, "It's been almost a year and you expect me, to just move on like it never happened?"

"You did this to yourself Molly, I was hoping it didnt have to happen like this..."

Molly cut him off, "What? That I catch you sleeping around with your little whore?"

"Hey," Tina said defensivly, "I'm not a whore, I'm his future wife," She smiled sarcastically, "and I'm pregnant."

Molly suddenly felt sick, The color draining from her face. Jack turned to Tina, "Go wait in the car, I'll be there soon."

Tina reluctantly left the room, her blonde hair flipping over her shoulder as she exited.

"Look, this marriage is going no where, I'm tired of being ignored. I know that Kate's dead and we can't fix that, but I'm not staying in this relationship with you." Jack walked to the door, "You should get your things and go. I don't need this anymore Molly."

"Excuse you? You want me to leave the house that I raised our child, as well as-" He cut her off.

"Let me stop you there. I own this house, my name is the only one on the property. So march your ass upstairs, pack your things, and go." With that he shut the door.

Molly slide to the ground. Her head spinning causing her to feel sick and helpless. Slowly she pulled out her cell phone and called her friend Ari, who was over there with in the next 30 minutes. She helped Molly get her things, and before leaving stoped by Kates old room, where she took the stuffed elephant she'd loved so much, and a portfolio of all the drawings she had ever done.

Ari then brought her over to her and her husbands home, while they discussed what to do next.
