I walked through the giant crowd in front of the doors to Hopes Peak Academy. I looked up at the magnificent building towering over us and still couldn't believe that I was going here. But I felt somewhat out of place, I got here on dumb luck after all. I won a lottery along with some other kid.
As I was gazing at the massive school, a girl brushed past me. I looked down and saw a girl with long braids and a brown uniform weaving through the crowd. She was holding something in her arms. I tried to follow her, but the crowd was too thick.
"Damnit" I muttered under my breath as the path though the crowd was blocked by students.
More students started to file into the building and I realized that most of the people standing outside weren't actually going to Hopes Peak.
One girl pulled me aside and said "You are so lucky! What's your talent?"
"Umm, luck..." I murmured
"Oh" She lost interest and walked away and I quickly ran inside the school.
I walked through the big doors into the entrance hall and I swore I caught a glimpse of that girl, before I blacked out.
