please let me down easy XD
lets get started, shall we?
Misuki, 17, was given up at birth. Her adoptive parents took her in as a "if i do this, you follow every word i say...or else..." type deal. And, at 7 years old, she didn't know any better, nor did she deny her new parents. She was always so happy. Always smiling and laughing, no matter how tough her home life was. As an adopted child, she felt required to impress her parents. Even though, adopted or not, you should never have to impress any one, but no matter what, she always felt the need to.
"Misuki!! come down here at once!!" her mother screamed at her from the dining room. She ran downstairs and stood before her mother and father. "yes ma'am?" her mother had her head in one hand, her other rested on her hip. Her father, shaking his head at her in disappointment, removed his belt from his pants and walked towards her. she lashed away, only for him to grab her arm and pull her closer.
"do you fucking realize how much DANGER you put us through???" Misuki shook her head in confussion. "dont fucking shake your head at me! use your voice!" Misuki trembled in her fathers grip "n-no sir... i-i dont know what i did.." he growled under his breath, and let her go. "Karen. care to remind your stupid daughter what she did??" Misuki's mother sighed in aggrivation at his words, and walked towards Misuki. "He's a killer, Misuki.."
misuki darted her eyes back and forth from parent to parent. "i...i honestly have no idea what youre talking about........." her parents looked at each other, and her mother gestured towards the dinner table where laid a piece of paper was folded up. her father picked it up and opened it.
it read:
"Misuki, Darling... long time, no see, i miss you, i miss your face. your smile. your laugh... i wish i were there right now, but i will be soon. i promise. you wont even know i'm there. :)
-Jeff"
misuki looked at them in confusion. "what the hell??? whos Jeff???" her mother stared at her. "you little lying brat.. why i aughta-" "Karen!" her father set the note back down and walked towards them. "Misuki... do you read the news? Jeff is A killer... and he knows where we live now.. now, i know at your age your hormones are raging and you think you love every boy that crosses paths with you, but-" Misuki had enough. "Dad!! i dont even KNOW A Jeff!!!" her fathers fists started to tense up in anger. "you gave him our address Misuki!!!! you gave a murderer our fucking address!!!" Misuki growled and backed away from her parents in anger and frustration. "look. whoever this "jeff" kid is, he'll be cought for his murders, and we'll be fine. we'll just call the police." her mother sighed "its no use, Misuki. they've tried. for years. they cant catch him..." Misuki's heart started to pound in the realization that a killer knows her
he knows where she is.
he knows WHO she is.
and he's been near her before and she never knew it.
after things calmed down that night, Misuki locked her door, and windows to her room. her parents locked all the doors and windows in the house. Misuki laid on her bed staring at the ceiling. she glanced over at her tv. 'Misuki... do you read the news? Jeff is A killer...' her fathers words made her shudder. she picked up the remote and turned on the news in curiosity that he may have been on yet another killing spree tonight.
"Jeff the Killer. yes. you heard it right. he's striked again in the urban areas. Please, keep all doors locked keep all windows bolted, and stay safe... before your next...-" she shut the tv off and tossed the remote, trembling.
He's near.
