Ermina's POV

I went running into the house .... when mom came with a smiling face and greeted me assalamallaikum ..... but soon her expression changed to a worried expression when she saw me .....

What happen Ermi ?? All you alright ? Did something happen in college ? Why did you come running ? Ignoring all the question I hugged my mom and between my sobs mange to say just 1 word MURDER . After sometime I told the whole story to my mom at first she scolded me for inviting the trouble for myself but later hugged me to assure that bhai and dad will handle everything.

After few hours when dad and bhai came back home mom explained them with patience all the scene and in between this explaining I kept on getting death glares and scoldings which made me feel like a complete idiot .

After this ,dad called the police to inform about the situation, they promised to find out about the people and the girl who was murdered.....

This reminds of the girl she looked nearly my age I wonder what must hv her parents gone through ??? Who was she ??

I prayed isha namaz and went to read quran I seriously need peace of mind afterr reading quran for hours I went to bed but that incident was not getting off my mind YA ALLAH HELP ME !!!!!!

Help help plzzz dont kill me plzzz ill not try to run again plzz dont kill me ill do as u say!!!!!

Noo my darling your tooo late you have already caused a lot of mess and now I cant take the risk of letting you stay alive  or else ROGER SIR will not let me live .......

I got up to find myself in my room ....... fear filled in me sweating and panting hard for oxygen ........

Allah it was a nightmare.... Ya allah help me..... I crawl out of my bed, its nearly fajr time .... I make wudhu pray fajr and make dua for that girl and to keep me and my family safe....

"ROGER SIR how did I miss this name I should probably tell this to the police he is the main murderer ".

I took bath and came down to hall where dad and bhai were sitting with the inspector he looked at me with a faint smile and informed me that they found no dead body near the spot I had informed .....

"That's impossible" !!!!!! I scream

"We are really sorry miss ermina i am sure you have some misunderstanding ,there was no spot of blood or any other murder evidence. I am sure your mistaken .

"No I dint have any misunderstanding" ...this time my voice was rude and harsh.

"I am very sure u will find something and also I forgot to tell you the black men took the name of someone called roger."
The very instant I took the name the police officer froze.

Are you sure ? ........ The police officer questioned me back .
This time I was really loosing it ...... "ofcourse I am sure sir it was this man ".

After giving a hard glare to my dad the police finally opened up saying ..... "its better you forget about it "
I gave a shocking expression .... did he really tell me to forget a murder ,I mean I just witness some 1 loosing her life and I am suppose to forget it.
I became really angry and asked him back ...... Why should I do that ? I told you the name cant you still arrest him ? He deserves to pay for his sins? I hv seen them ? Now my eyes started to fill with tears because of the anger bubbling inside me ..... ugh I hate this thing .
He looked at my dad and then I dont know what came over my dad he told me to go upstairs .

"But dad your not getting my point u know ,I am not lying its a murder how can he just leave it".....

Go up erminaa ...... It was harsh this time ...

Without saying anything I went up and the scenes of that day started to play in my mind tears rollong down my cheeks ....... Ya Allah please help me get over this !!!!!!!!

After few hours later there was a knock on the door it was bhai ....... after giving me a comforting smile bhai sat next to me he held my hand and said sorry....... after seeing my confused expression for his sorry ...... he said I am sorry I couldnt protect you !!!! I am sorry I wasnt there when you needed me the most .... now my tears were not stopping ...... he said .Anyways now show me my huge ermi smile and come down for lunch you know I hate to see your tears.

'But bhai'......' come down '....' lets go' .

After a silent lunch I finally broke the silence ....... what did the inspector say ???? will he catch the person ? Dad why did you tell me to go up ?
Forget about it Ermi .... just leave it .... But why dad ? Why cant they just arrest him ?

BECAUSE THE PERSON YOU SPOKE ABOUT IT NOT A MERE MURDERER HE IS AN INTERNATIONAL DON EVEN IF HE KILLS MORE TEN PEOPLE NO ONE  CAN ARREST HIM .......

Dad said that thing in 1 breath ,now I actually figured out what was the inspector trying to say ..... Forget about it ermi its better for all of us .... we tried from our side but I guess thats the only help we can do ....mom comforted me .
