The Neckalace that Changed it all

"Why hello there Yukino!" I said with anger. She sat in silence rolling her eyes at every word. "Tell me yukino what made you take this path? Akemi told us you used to be so nice." Yuki said getting straight to the point. "Oh I suppose that akemi finally opened up about her past.......Took her long enough." She mumbled at the end. Akemi gritted her teeth. "Why are you doing this, I don't remember you ever wanting to fight. Im your friend yukino you can tell me what's wrong!!" Akemi said holding back tears. "You truly don't remember?" She said. We just stood there not knowing what to say. "I don't suppose akemi told you how she escaped and got her magic back did she?" We shook are heads no. Now that I think about it she didn't go any deeper than how she met yukino. "Well it all started when akemi decided to go to her dad's room. He was busy cleaning the upper class man's rooms so she decided it would be a good idea. She took me with her."

7 years ago (Akemi was 10)

Akemi's POV: My dad's room was always locked so I decided to bring yukino since she was a master at pick pocketing. "Alright ready akemi!" Yukino whispered to me. I nodded. She grabbed out a paper clip that she stole from the Masters bedroom and started to fiddle with the lock. "Got it!" She said as the door swept open. His room was pretty normal and clean kept. "Well this was anti climactic." Yukino said dissatisfied. "Agreed." I responded. We rummaged through his things for a while and couldn't find anything. "Talk about a let down." Yukino said. "There has to be something in here, why else would my dad lock the door?" I said. Yukino shrugged it off and headed for the door. As she was heading out she tripped over a risen plank in the ground. I pulled yukino up and then started to observe the plank. ".…..So are you gonna ask if im okay!? Or maybe ANY emotional concern?" Yukino asked waiting for an answer, but I just completely ignored her. "What is so interesting about a plank?" She then looked at it and realised the same thing I did. Without a word I lifted up the plank. When I lifted it up something shiny showed through. I was to weak to pick up the plank all the way so Yukino came over to help. When we finally got the plank completely off I got to get a closer look at the item. I knelt down on one knee and looked. It was a necklace shaped like a music note. Me and Yukino both looked at eachother, awe struck. I touched the necklace and then a huge beam of light flashed in my face, knocking me down. "Akemi!" Yukino screamed before stepping back. There was a huge glittering stream of magic coming out of the necklace and going straight into me. I felt an adrenaline rush, like I never had felt before. When the necklaces stream vanished I felt so much power. "Akemi are you okay!?!" Yukino said running over to me. She lightly tapped my arm and an electric shock run through her arm. "Ow!" "What's happening to me Yukino?" I asked tears running down my face.
