Geoff

"Hey baby!" I heard an annoying, squealing voice calling down the hall and just pray that it isn't directed towards me. I turn around and see what I dreaded, Joyce, my ex-girlfriend. "Geoff! Hi sweetie" "Joyce. I dumped you 4 months ago. Why are you here?" The hallway twisted, what was going on? I looked around the hall trying to figure out what was happening. Joyce grabbed my shoulder and turned me so my full attention was on her, her brown eyes turned red and her skin was paler then usual "How could you do this to me Geoff! Geoff! Geoff!"

I woke up to my mom shaking me and calling my name "Morning honey," she said smiling "you don't wanna be late for the first day of grade 10 at your new school?" she got up and left. I groaned, rolled off my bed, and put on a Linkin Park t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. We had to move because my ex-girlfriend, Joyce, was stalking my family. She had left school for a week after I first dumped her, then I found threatening notes in my locker for about 2 days. Then one night when I went to my room I found her in my closet. She also stole my dog...twice. So when the police wouldn't do anything, we moved to Houston, Texas. The reason why I broke up with her? At a party she was throwing she caught me and her brother making out in her room. She was really drunk so she thought she was hallucinating. She was not, and I had half a beer so what I'm saying is that I'm gay and she was an alcoholic and I couldn't handle HER getting drunk, anyone else, I'm good.

So here I am. "Geoff be in the car in five minutes or you can find another way to school!" my mom called. I made sure everything I needed was in my bag, pulled on some shoes, and checked if I looked ok in the mirror with my recent nose piercing. I left through the garage and hopped in the car with my mom. "Here's your schedule for this semester that your school e-mailed" she said as she handed me a piece of paper. Great, first period gym, second period music, third period math, fourth science. "Oh, Geoff, vocals and instrumentals in one class." Well as long as I have music this semester.

As we pulled up to the school my mom wished me luck and gave me a kiss, I got out of the car and made my way to the school. When I walked in I noticed the large amount of people in the foyer. You had the jocks, guys with baseball caps with sport team names, girls with their hair in tight high ponytails, etc. The memelords, kids on their phones occasionally showing a kid beside them what was on their phones and laughing. The nerd/geeks, they sat in a small corner in the foyer with DSs, laptops, and phones. The nerds however were in the caff (cafeteria) in a large group talking about answers for last night's homework.  The plastics, who were girls and guys who had no talents, weren't smart, and weren't nice, but had big asses, did a lot of drugs, and went out with multiple people at a time. I am very intimidated by these people because I know what they can do, I was one of them. I recall all the things I did when I was a plastic until my stomach started vibrating and making me realize that I hadn't eaten. So I go into the caff to get food.

In the back of the caff there is a group of people sitting at one of the tables. They are like real people, they are communicating with each other, laughing and talking like real actual people. I was actually amazed. In the group there was a boy with bright blue hair, a boy with curly long hair and a nose ring like mine, a boy with dyed red hair, and a girl with bleach blonde hair with bright lipstick and a septum ring. As a walked by the boy with red hair yelled "Hey you, I like your shirt," I turned around, he was looking right at me, so I pointed to myself and mouthed "Me?" he laughed and said "My name is Jawn, this is Awtsen," pointing to the blue haired boy who was now looking at his phone, not looking up he waves, "this is Otto" pointing to the boy with long hair, Otto smiled, "and this is Grace." He said pointing to the girl with the septum ring, who also smiled. "Oh, hey, I'm Geoff. I just moved here" "Shit, that's a nice piercing" said Grace. I don't take compliments very well so I did all I could, blush. Awsten looks up from his phone and walks up to me, oh god I don't want a hater already I just got here. His eyes were two different colours, they were beautiful. "I like your shirt, do you play any instruments?" "uh, thanks and yeah, I play the guitar and sing a little" Awsten looks over to Otto, who shrugs and smiles. Awsten's face breaks out into a smile, "Welcome to the squad!" Jawn, Otto, and Grace smile and mock a fancy clap. "We meet at room 108 at lunch."
