Previously on "The Taboo":
Everyone has its secrets, and now my secret will be known to all.
I'm Gel Franches, 15 years old. I have a bit of a very perfect family, but I'm not as perfect as what you think I am.
"Why do you want his number?" Miss Jay asked, I was nervous when she asked me that question on SMS. Then I just calmly replied to her "because our computer was broken and I wanted his help to repair it"
The Taboo: It'll all end with 'O'
"I got his number! Yay. Now what?"

It's 30 minutes past 7, the feeling of guilt is overpowering me, I didn't expect this to be in a big mess, it just started with a crush. "How are you love?" Yeah, right. I was now on Skype with my mom. "Doing great I guess? hehe" I hate that the sound of my giggle has bind up with my tensed aura.
"I am really happy to hear that, I feel like i almost fulfilled my duties as your mother. Yes, right I still have to check for my work's update, wait a second Gel" she hurriedly disappeared at the camera.
I need to tell her the soonest, I need to tell my mom what was happening right now, I just can't take this heavy burden anymore.
"I got it! Sorry to keep you waiting." "That's just fine." my words were followed by a rare silence. I know, she has sensed something wrong. "What is it love? Are you sick?" she asked cluelessly "Ma, I need to tell you something." I didn't look at the camera, I just helplessly bowed my head. "It's fine, I am here to listen." she said calmly.
*Flashback*
I received a message from Sir Kang, he said it is strange how this issue has spread so fast, he said someone in the Senior high told another professor about us, a name which I knew very well, Yexell that rich brat girl. This mess was because of her. That curious little brat! She's thankful she's rich. Anyway, I don't like to think too much about her, I need to get out of this Go to Guidance with your parents event.
*End of Flashback*
"Ma remember the teacher I told you about?" she paused for a second "The one you asked to repair our computer? Yes I remember. Why?" "I got this sort relationship with him. Now it's all my fault. Our guidance knows about us and my teacher told me to call for you and Pa."
I started to tremble, tears came out of my eyes, I didn't pause, I just told her everything. She didn't say anything. Please say something... I just wanted to hear your side "Di-did your papa know about this?" she asked. "No." I replied. "Are you suppose— are you planning to tell papa?"
"Please ma, please don't tell pa." "Gel, your father needs to know." Mama's right my papa needs to know, but I don't want him to scold me.
Too late I realized my papa was at the door really curious "what is it that I need to know?" "Dad, Gel's having a problem at school." he grabbed the arm chair backwards and then he took a seat. "what is that about?" "Their guidance found out about her mutual relationship with a teacher."
I don't want to look at papa's eyes, nor his face, I don't want to disappoint my papa, but it already happened, I just have to accept the fact that I am now being scolded because of my ignorance.
He stormed with anger and I just couldn't help but cry. My mama on the other hand's been trying to calm him, but it's no use, my father knows how taboo that was and it's a big no no to the society. A student-teacher relationship is taboo not to mention in a Catholic school.
I tried to ask him to go to school with me but he just said "No" he told me it's my problem and it's up to me to face it. I hate this feeling. The feeling of being alone when it comes to this situation. A problem which only I will face.

Friday 5 pm in the afternoon, the class has ended and the school's getting ready for the Youth Movement but as for me, I was called by Miss Joe, this is has to end.
I got so nervous, things came up inside my head, I wish everything hadn't ended like this, I wish I was not tangled with this situation, I wish I had not met him. To my surprise we didn't end up in the guidance office or in the conference room, but I was so relieved to see us going inside the computer lab.
He was there, Sir Kang, patiently waiting. "I don't want this to end late because I still have to attend at the movement" Miss Joe said then she looked at me and pointed at the chair next to Sir Kang's. "Sit" she said, "Now, let's get straight to the point. Did something that happened to both of you?" "No." we said in unison.
"Okay so Gel did both of you shared the ILY words?"
Goodness, she's really asking me that?
"Yes, I won't hide it Miss Joe, I grew up to be very fond of saying that."
Liar.
"And If you want I can say that to you too!"
Ewww! Not to her.
"Saying those kind of things are just normal to me Miss Joe" You're lying Gel. I'm Lying "Right, then sir Kang what are you going to say?"
What is this? Why can't i hear him clearly? He what? The what? In order to back my self out of their conversation, I check my watch the whole time, waiting. Waiting...
"You know what Miss Joe, I have a girlfriend..."
Liar. Was this all your act after all Henrick? I know you don't have a girlfriend. I know. I just know. "And what if she heard this? What will happen to our relationship? I don't want it to be like that." Miss Joe just calmly looked at him and then kept nodding. Yes, right. This was just an act.
The bell rang and this gave Miss Joe a signal to end this little conference. That's it? just like that?
"I'm really sorry to bother you with this Sir Kang, but the bell's already rang, I think we have to go." "I understand Miss Joe." he replied shortly.
She tapped my back and strongly grasp my shoulder as if she likes to tell me I SHOULD NOT DARE TO TURN BACK.
Now I get it, Miss Joe is just a helpless woman who desperately wants love and that she's a person who needs a lot of comfort and compliment from a man. I even heard she bought flowers and chocolates to a guy she liked but he turned her down. Poor Miss Joe.
