The school bell just rang, signifying that the school day had ended. Sheldon Waltson was walking back home with his partner rowlet, when he heard far away, "Hey Sheldon, wait up!" He turned around and saw his friend Jesse running towards him. Jesse said to him, "hey, my dad is getting an award for his research on Ultra Wormholes. He said I can bring one friend. Wanna come?" And Sheldon said, "Heck yeah!" And gave Jesse a high five. Sheldon then said, "Maybe you'll find your own Pokémon there." Then Jesse said, "dude, stop trying to rush me." And Sheldon apologized. They then got into a controversial conversation about which is better: Mega Evolution or Z-moves.
As Jesse was getting ready for the banquet, he then thought about his own Pokémon. He was sure he didn't want a Pikachu since he thought he was overrated. He then met Sheldon outside his house, and him, Sheldon, and his dad started walking towards the house for the banquet.
