《°Jashin°》

    Hidan was running, running as fast as his 6 year old legs could go. What was he running from? A monster. A monster he used to call Papa. He occasionally stumbled, but he kept going. Nothing was going to stop him from getting away from that... Monster. His mother would try to stop him, but what could a civilian do to stop a shinobi?

     He felt a kunai fly passed his head, which only made him run faster, but he could feel him catching up. What could he, a six year old, do against a Jounin? He then felt his arm being grabbed. "Oh Hidan-kun, where were you going? Mom's going to worry if you don't get home." Hidan tried to twist out of his grip, but the man didn't even twitch at his restraining. He only tighten his grip and said "We wouldn't want anything to... happen to your mother now, would we?" Hidan stopped, hearing the threat in the monsters voice. He went limp, and started to follow the monster back to his house.

《A monster doesn't have to be are imagination, they could be right in front of us.》

   Hidan woke up, screaming and sobbing. Kakuzu was immediately at his side, holding him, telling him it was ok, and no one was going to hurt him ever again. Hidan slowly calmed down and went back to sleep, curled up into Kakuzu's side, clutching his shirt. Kakuzu looked down at him in sadness, remembering the first time his koi had a nightmare in front of him.

Flashback

Kakuzu woke up to his koi screaming in terror. He immediately went to his bedside and tried to wake him up. "Hidan, wake up! It's only a dream, come on koi!" He started to soothingly rub circles in his chest, which calmed Hidan down a little. Hidan was still crying, but started to cry in Kakuzu's arms. "Kakuzu! Don't let him take me! Oh please Kakuzu, I don't wanna die!" 'Die? What does Hidan mean by die? He's immortal.' "Hidan what do you mean, die? Shh it's ok I won't let him hurt you, just what do you mean?"

    Hidan looked at Kakuzu and managed to sob out "My Papa! Don't let him take me! I don't wanna go back, oh Kakuzu I'm so scared! He already got Mama, don't let him get me too" Kakuzu could already tell that Hidan's father was some sick bastard, who beat him and his mother.

      Kakuzu started to sooth Hidan saying "Don't worry koi, I won't let him take you. I'll never let him hurt you again. Now go back to sleep." Hidan looked at him, embarrassed, and said "Will you stay here? I'm scared and I don't think I will fall asleep without you koi." Kakuzu smiled, thinking his koi looked cute embarrassed, and said "I will sleep with you tonight koi. And every other night you have a nightmare." Hidan smiled and replied "Thank you Kakuzu."
 
  
   Kakuzu and Hidan fell asleep in each other's arms, happy and content.
