Today was seventh grade prom. This guy I really liked asked me out. His name was Grayson. He was a really cute guy. My friend F/N helped me get dressed. "Thanks so much." I said. "Anytime." She said smiling. My mom dropped us off at school. "You look so beautiful, honey." She said smiling at me with watery eyes. "Thanks mom." I said. "You two go have fun." She said. I smiled and waved goodbye as we walked to the school. He was there waiting for me. I smiled at him. "Go to him." F/N whispered. I smiled and walked to him. We danced for a bit. "I'll be right back." He said. "Okay." I said.
Chandler told me he had a date. But what I didn't know, that it was s/y/h. My face fell, as he wrapped his arms around her waist and danced with her. She glanced at me and smirked. How could I be so blind that he was the one I want? Not Grayson. I sat alone at a table. A single tear fell down my face. I saw Grayson dancing with some other girl. I ran to the bathroom and cried my eyes out. I actually liked Grayson a bit. I didn't love him. But it hurt to know that he left me for some other girl.
And I couldn't go to Chandler for help. He was with s/y/h. And he was happy. But I wasn't. "Y/N, I know your in here." F/N said. "F/N I want to go home." I said. She opened the stall and hugged me. "I saw what happened." She said. "He's such a jerk." She said. "I'm sorry for wasting you time, when I asked you to do my hair and makeup." I said. "I didn't mind." She said. We decided to go home.
Right when I got home, I washed all the makeup off and changed into my pjs. I got a text from Chandler.
ChanChan❤️:Hey, I didn't see you at prom. Didn't u say u were going?

dork❤️: well my date decided to leave me for some other girl.
