Chapter 5

My mom walked off.

I grabbed Luke's hand stood up and sprinted up the stairs looked on the couch there he was!!!

Derik was home!!!

I was so freaking happy I ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug.

We hugged for a good 5 minutes.

I let go then Luke quickly hugged him.

I grabbed some chips, you know the usual kind. The Doritos, lays and Cheetos, all of deriks favorite.

"Hey Luke will you grab the 6 pick of root beer out of the bottom drawer of the icebox?"

"On it babe"

"Babe? What, are you guys dating now?" Derik said with a laugh.

"Yes" Luke and I said at the same time.

"Whatever, I'm calling carter, Michael, And Aron to tell them to come over." Replied derik while rolling his eyes, and wiggling his eyebrows at us.

Luke and I we're sitting down on the left side if the couch holding hands with a really big blanket and my golden retriever, Roxie, was sitting on my legs.

Derick was sitting on his wheelchair next to the couch in the middle of the couch and the two recliners.

The door bell rang about 20 min into shark week, but I yelled through the door "it's unlocked guys"

Micheal walked in first and then aron and then carter.

Micheal walked in and say down on one of the recliners and in came Aron sat on the other one. Carter sat down at the other end of the couch.

I guess luke had already told him about us.

"What movie?" I said while getting up walking to the tv.
