Twenty- three year old, Ebony Taylor always heard the phrase 'Your pretty for a dark skin girl'. Why do I have to be pretty for a dark skin girl? Why can't I just be pretty? Why should my color matter? Ebony has always had friends that were mixed with something and they'd always get attention from males but when they notice her, she doesn't get 'Oh my god your gorgeous.' She gets 'She's pretty for a dark skin girl.'
Not everyone can be a redbone and have hair down the middle of there back. Sorry I'm not thick in the right places. I'm not perfect. I'm just dark skin.
