Let me introduce my older sister and me. I'm Amber Carlin and her name is Jayda Carlin. I'm currently 23 years old, with Jayda being 28 years old.
Of course, fairytales are a part of everyone's lives. Legends, myths, stories, and so on. But for Jayda and I, fairytales were our lives. When we discovered Disney movies at a very young age, we became obsessed with them. Watching those movies over and over, watching new ones the first day they were released. Years later, we found a new story called The Garden of Eve. I was 15 when Jayda and I found that story. It became our favorite fairytale, and it still is to this day.
The Garden of Eve was about two female fairies, named Aallotar and Jasmine. They were sisters, living a very happy life in the kingdom of Zoulia, with a family and many friends. One day, a neighboring kingdom, Kaikuryn, had attacked Zoulia and slaughtered many of its fairies, along with Aallotar's and Jasmine's family. Majority of their friends had been taken away, not to be seen again, while the others were mindlessly killed. The Zoulian Kingdom in ruins, Aallotar and Jasmine fled, and lived far away in the Pretha Empire for a few years. After those few years, they had become strong women and decided to find their missing friends. They go on a daring and inspiring adventure, even finding love. After a long journey, the sisters find their friends in a place called the Garden of Eve. But, in the end, Aallotar and Jasmine had died saving them. Sounds cliche, am I right? Truthfully, the context of the story is amazing. I'm just a bad storyteller, that's why it sounds bad.
Our love for the fairytale couldn't have worked out any better, because one night, we were taken to place of our dreams...
