'Auntie Ever, what happened next?' Emma asked in her sweet little 5 years old voice.

'Well, she was chosen to be valedictorian of class 2016 and in that same very moment she received her acceptance letter to Yale.' I said.

The two 13 years old twins and the 5 years old girl sat around me listening tentatively to the story, each one with a cup of hot chocolate in hand.

It looked like a scene from a christmas movie, with the kids and the hot chocolate and the stormy night.

If only they were here with us...
I sighed.

Blaze cut my train of thoughts saying
'Aunt Ever, did dad apply to Yale as well?'

'Well, to be honest, no he didn't. And  he was very upset when he came to know of the acceptance letter. But they figured everything out because they loved each other so much that they couldn't let go even if they tried to.' I smiled

I continued the story for my beautiful nephew and nieces.

'What happened after that?'
'What was the book about?'
'Did they break up?'

All three of them fired questions at me.

I just laughed and said 'The book was called The Hoodie Girl By A.R, inside that small brown book, written with neat blue inked handwriting, was a peom your father wrote to express his undying love to your mother. Wren loved Asher to peices, they saved eachother without even knowing.'

'Did they have nicknames for eachother?' Emma asked

'Well...' I was cut of by someone else talking

'I was her blue eyed monster' My big brother said smiling passionately at his wife.

'And I was his birdie' as soon as Wren said that, the kids ran to their parents welcoming them after a month's departure.

'How are you feeling mom?' Brooklyn asked concerned.

'The doctors said she is cancer free and she is going to be better than ever.' Asher said enthusiastically

'HEY... I'm always better' I joked and ran to Wren hugging her as the kids hugged their father.

'Thank God you are ok!' I cried on her shoulder.

She hugged me back and laughed saying 'You aren't getting rid of me so easy.'

Meanwhile, Asher called us all for a 3 way facetime with Mia, Zack, and Brody.

Yeah, did I forget to mention that Zack and Mia got married two years after Asher and Wren's wedding?!

And Brody met a girl named Sabine in college and he fell heads over heals for her.

'What do you want Ash-wipe? You know it's 2 p.m. on a Sunday right?!' Zack retorted and Mia hit the back of his head rolling her eyes.

'Well, I wanted to tell you that Wren is cancer free' Asher yelled.

Mia started crying as Zack said ' Thank the lord Banana Girl is going to stay with us.'

'There is also another thing...' Wren said smiling sheepishly

I shared a confused look with everyone as Asher and Wren smiled knowingly.

'What is it?!' Brody asked cautiously.

'Don't worry Brody Bear, it is nothing bad' Wren laughed

'Spill the beans already Mommy and Daddy' Emma yelled impatiently

We all laughed at her cuteness.

'WE ARE PREGNANT' Asher and Wren yelled.

While everyone was screaming, cheering, and fighting over baby names...
I saw Asher hold Wren closely as she says
'I love you my blue eyed monster'

Asher whispered 'Birdie, I love you so much... My Hoodie Girl.'
