A Wringlings Return

A pair of glowing yellow eyes sat in the corner of the room with long arms and legs a wicked smile played across its face starting at me as it's long toungue licked it's lips.

"This is my meal I think I smelled a wrong like this before no no no it was two adults hmm I think they were her parents they were quite delicious I wonder if combining the two makes for a better tasting treat" it laughed all I could do was sit frozen in time, Vlyad looked at my laughing.

"Scared shitless poor thing I do have to feed my pet after all you are next on the menu" they all started laughing as the horrible creature came closer as I backed up into a corner.

"You smell very delicious" it's said bringing its face close to mine. "I wonder if you taste as good as they did their screams were oh so delightful as we tore them apart wait till I get a taste of you" he said.

I now had no control over my powers or myself the ground shook almost breaking under us the candle in the room flew towards me soaking up in my skin turning my hands into flames.

Celeste pov

We felt the ground shake under us. "Oh no that can only mean she's in trouble" I said looking at every one. "We don't even know where she is" said Gabriel standing up. "I practiced lots of magic before coming here I can do a smile locator spell" Lucinda said pulling down a gem and laying on a map of the school. It flew around in circles before hitting room the room marked Vlyad dorm.

"Why would she be there" Gabriel asked. "I don't know but she's in danger we need to go" I said sprinting down the hallway Samir and Gabriel close behind.

We reached the room pulling on the handle it was locked shut.

"STOP IT BEFORE I SET YOU ALL UP INTO FLAMES" I heard Adian scream. The door opened Lucinda smiling with a finger on her mouth.

I rushed in kneeling by Adian putting a hand on her shoulder, the flames kept going further up her body if she was engulfed she would die. I shocked her with the last power I had and her body went limp the flame returning to a near by candle.

"What the hell were you doing to her"Gabriel yelled. "She was getting out of control I didn't want an outburst in the hall so I brought her here with some friends to take care of the situation you idiot" Said Vlyad crossing his arms. "She was screaming that doesn't sound like helping to me now step aside and let us take her to the clinic" Samir said stepping Infront of them a hand out in front of his body.

"No can do see I have some chores to do like feeding my pet now I would like you all to leave" Vlyad said in a stern tone.

"No can do" Gabriel said as he picked up Adian helping me up.

"Fine you leave me no choice Connor scream please" he smirked as Connor let out a loud noise making our ears start to bleed. Samir put a force field around us smirking. "Celeste do you have any electricity you can use to build with this force field it can make it's stronger" Samir said.

"Just a little bit left I didn't bring my staff only a few batteries" I said holding the batteries shocking the force field as it pulsed with electricity.

"What the hell" Said Vlyad Samir smirked walking out the door holding his hands to the edges of the barrier.

"Let's head to Headmaster Wolf's dorm" Gabriel said.

Once we got to the door he released the force field as we opened the door to his office. "Headmaster Wolf we are sorry to bother you but Vlyad brought Adian to his dorm room and we heard her screaming as we got there she was about to be consumed in flames" Said Samir as Gabriel put Adian in a chair.

"Hmm go fetch a nurse we need to wake up Adian I will go get Vlyad stay here" he said standing up and leaving the office.

I looked around the room and there was someone in the corner of the room they had long arms and legs they were in a stance of an ape at the zoo.

"Hey are you lost"I asked walking into the corner or the room towards whom ever it was.

Authors pov

Celeste walked into the corner of the dim lit room. The creature was eagerly waiting but it wasn't alone. It finally spoke those horrible words that they wish they realized was danger.

As she grew closer they all jumped towards the group snatching them all up in a net the glowed bright blue. Gabriel tried to use his powers but they seemed to not work no matter what he had tried.

All went dark for the small group of friends....

The creatures that had trapped them had horrendous plans but they had to get them back to the cave a cross the lake which had a small island in the middle with an under ground cave. They just had to make it there before anyone had seen them.
