He looked up through his blurry eyes at her as she was standing near fireplace few steps away from him, but he felt as if she was miles apart from him.
"Ivy..." His voice came out horse. He cleared his throat, wiped his eyes with back of his hand then said " You never fell out of love. I think in first place it was never 'LOVE'."
He stood up from the couch, took out the royal blue coloured velvet box from his pocket. . . . . Kept it on the couch and turned to her and said "Goodbye." Soon he left her apartment to never return.

And I think maybe a happy ending doesn't always include a guy/girl. Maybe it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. maybe the happy ending is just moving on.
