You quickly tucked onto your skirt, Clutching your bag tightly, Taking a death breath. To then ring the doorbell. You heard footsteps and the jingle of keys, Presumably it was Josuke mum, Tomoko. She opened the door with a smile.
"Oh (Y/n)? Uhm, please come in"
Tomoko said with a tint of confusion from your abrupt visit, as she opened the door wider for you.
"Sorry for the random intrusion," You mumble nervously.
Tomoko giggles "Don't sweat it (Y/n), You're a pleasure to have around anyway" Tomoko says with a reassuring smile. Trying to break the awkwardness you felt, You stepped inside looking around at the sickly yellow walls you were so used to seeing. Quickly slipping off your shoes, You looked around for Josuke, Heck that was the entire reason you had came to The Higashikata residence and he didn't even greet you!
"Oh and, If you're looking for Josuke, He's upstairs probably doodling about.." Tomoko says, Her voice trailing off as saying that.
You nodded and quickly hopped you're way up the stairs to Josukes room. You stood outside his room.
It reaked of hairspray.
"Josukee?" You ask "You there..? You say quietly. The door comes flinging open, Hitting your head and causing you to pass out. The last thing you remember hearing was "Crazy Diamond!"

You felt a warm thing right next to you. Like almost teddy bear was cuddling you, You snuggled into it wrapping your arms around it a smiling.
"(Y/n)?"
Your head shook up, Banging your forehead
"Ow!" You say
"Shitt.." "it" says
opening your eyes to find Josukes arms overlapping you, and him being.. So close.
Your face looks like it had just been slapped for how red you were at that moment. That "it" was Josuke. That "teddy" was Josuke.
"Ohmygoshimsosorryididntevenrealisepleasedontbemadatme" As you say this, You wiggle your way out of his warm arms blushing frantically.
He giggles at this, "Nahhh don't worry about it, You were nice to cuddle with" Josuke says cutely. You heart rate expuanitly went up. His face suddenly changes to a somewhat sad expression. You wiggle up near him from moving not too long after scrambling away.
"You ok?" You ask concerningly
"Yeah, It's just that I was sorta worried for you when you weren't waking up straight after the door went flinging in your face" Josuke says twiddling with a loose piece of hair of his. The only time his hair was falling apart is when he just woke up or that he was too worried to fix it...
"Oh Um, I'm flattered" You squeaked felling your face heat up once again from embbarsement.
"Well I care about you lots so of course I would be, (Y/N)" He says in raspy voice leaning in. From what realising what he just did, He shot back, Both of you just sit there in awkwardness for a good 20 seconds.
"So why did you call me?" You ask mumbling.
His body shot up and made his way to his desk, getting a game case out..
"Someone got Street Fighter 4~~" He said showing off the unopened case.
"Wanna play?"
The atmosphere and the mood completely changed from awkward to happy aswell his attitude from moments before. You quickly made your way up to him, Looking up at his tall figure and dead in the eye.
"It's on!"
