I was finally 17 and moving into my own apartment. I grabbed my bags and put them into the back of my car and then grabbed my dog Oreo and put him into his carrier. I kissed my mom bye as a few tears fell from her eyes.
I got in my car and drove off. I'm going to really miss her. She was going to visit my little brother Jaxon today. It was his 4th birthday today.
At the apartment:
I set all my bags down at the front door and walked to the couch and sat down in exhaustion. I took out my phone and texted my friend, Lizzy. She lives near my dad. And that's where I met her.
Lizzy💖 —————————————————— Me: Hey Liz! I moved to a new apartment!! Lizzy: Omg really?! Me: Yeah. I wish you were here.. 😔 Lizzy: I wish I was there too. But have a good day at school tomorrow. Night!!🌙 Me: Night Lizzy! ——————————————————
My room only had a bed in it. I let Oreo out of his carrier and he went to lay down. I decided I'd unpack tomorrow after school. So, I laid down on my bed and fell asleep...
Next day:
My alarm went off. It was my first day of school. I was nervous. What if people bully me? I didn't want to think about that. I got up and walked to my closet that only had a couple of clothes that I managed to unpacked last night.

After I got dressed, I decided I wasn't hungry and kissed Oreo goodbye and left for school.
At school:
The school was huge and had a lot of students. The hallways were very crowded. People stared at me.
" Hey. Are you new? " Someone asked.
" Yes. " I replied.
" Well nice to meet you! I'm Andrea! What's your name? " Andrea asked.
" Aria Tucker. Nice to meet you. "
" Well I can walk you to your class. " she said.
I handed her the schedule.
" I have the first 2 classes with you. Math and Social Studies. Follow me. "
I followed her around the school as people stared at me. It was very awkward. We finally got to a classroom. We both walked inside.
" Ah Aria! Our new student! Come here and introduce yourself to the class. I'm Mr. Roberts. " The class got quiet as I began to introduce myself. " I'm Aria Tucker and I moved from the other side of LA. "
" You can take a seat next to... Ethan. Raise your hand. "
He raised his hand. I walked over to were he was sitting. And sat down.
" I'm Ethan Dolan. " He said smiling.
" Nice to meet you. " I smiled back.
Turns out me and Ethan became best friends. I even became best friends with Andrea and his twin brother Grayson.
" Meet you after school? " Ethan asked.
" Of course! See after school! " I hugged him goodbye and headed to my next class which was Social Studies. I had all my classes with Ethan but he sat on different sides of the classroom.
Andrea suddenly walked over to me. She looked sad.
" Aria, I know you like Ethan. But.. he has a girlfriend.. "
My heart stopped. I love him. Maybe he just thought of me as just a friend.
