Gumball's pov:
That idiot messing with me while I'm trying to do nice things for him. I angrily eat my red velvet pancakes in the corner of our couch.
"Come on bubba, I was just messing around, you where just to cute not to mess with~" I throw a pillow at Marshall and he chuckles sitting down next to me.
"Buuuuubbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaa" He whines leaning on my shoulder.
"Marshall just eat your food!" He whines more. I sigh and kiss his forehead.
"Now eat you food you dork" He smiles and kisses my cheek. This doofus, annoys the hell out of me but I guess it's all worth it.
"Oh yeah gummy, aren't you supposed to go into work today?" I bolt up and spot the clock which reads 8:35.
"Holy fudge! I'm supposed to be there at 9:00!" I run to my room almost knocking my pancakes over and throw on my standard white button up shirt and black pants and run around the house collecting my stuff.
"Gummy calm down your the boss it's ok if your a little late." Marshall hums.
"No it's not! I have to bee there exactly on time everyday!" I tell running back into the living room to the door. Marshall walks up and kisses my cheek.
"Have a good day, bring me home something~" he teases and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah yeah, see yah later" I run out and sprint to the bus stop nearly missing it. I sit down and sigh hugging my bag. I've never left the house this late I'll be lucky to get there at 9. Oh you might be wondering where I work? I run a sweets/candy shop originally owned by my mother. She decided to pass it on to be for now so I can get some experience in business. The candy shop is nice but I'd really rather do something in science but that'll entail going back to school and I should just settle down and save some money be fore I do that.
Marshall on the other hand is unemployed he's been looking for a job in the music industry.
I walk into my small stop being treated by my employees and my small apprentice. He calls himself Mr. Cream puff cause of his affinity towards cream puffs so I just call him CP. He's a pretty short guy only a few years younger than me, he's got curly chocolate brown hair and a pretty small build. He insists upon wearing his little sailor hat in a daily basis. Today he's wearing light pastel overalls and a white collar shirt.
"Gumball! I finally perfected my cheesecake recipe!" I smile and nod.
"That's great, maybe we can start selling it in shop." He gets excited and runs over to me. He holds his hands behind his back and looks up to me.
"Please teach me a lot to day." I smile again and pat his head.
"Of course."
