The two they walk, together in stride.

They run from the world, they've tried to hide.

But something always brings them back.

Be it good or bad, they somehow come home.

At first, they sigh and say, "C'mon man, cut me some slack."

But they both know that the world is where they belong.

Now this job they do, it's a big mess.

Saving people, hunting things, the family business.

They face our nightmares, to keep us all safe.

The things they see, the things they do,

They do it all, all for you.

They save us all, and with great haste.

The beast they ride is big and black.

If they have a place to go, she's got their back.

Although horrible things they have done,

There's always family, better than blood.

Their friends, whom they never wish to part,

Is the real family they hold in their heart.

Their life is filled with the strange and mysterious.

Please don't laugh, the matter is serious.

Ghosts, gods, vampires too,

This is what they keep from you.

Monsters of every make and size,

And the demons they exorcise.

The things we fear, both small and tall,

Please don't worry, they'll gank 'em all.

With an angel on their shoulder and a devil in their ear,

Things are getting tough. It's hard to hear.

They've lost each other and wish to be found,

But that's difficult when you're chased by hounds.

Through the night, one screams, "Brother, help, I can't take it,"

While the other, he sings, "In the heat of the moment."

The two, they are different, but same in the ways that count.

They've done as siblings often do, they've bickered and they've fought,

But they will always come around,

Because to each other, their hearts are bound.

So the brothers remember who they are,

And find each other by following their hearts.

So, carry on my wayward son,

There may not be peace when you are done.

The road is long and hard to travel,

But with each other, you won't unravel.

Just know that you are his friend,

Even after the road reaches its end.

Your lives will be rough, it's not smooth sails,

But your brotherly love, it never fails.

At the end of the road, you've completed you're quest,

So, please lay your weary head down to rest.

You both may be battered and sore,

But there's no need to cry anymore.
