"i love you in every sense of the word."
Usually,
I depend on the timbre of your voice to quell my most unhealthy thoughts and troublesome fears.
But tonight...
I'm afraid not even that will suffice.
The gripes of my maleficent past has entrapped my sanity in a place where I no longer find it safe to hope for a future where you reside deeply intertwined within the whims of my wavelength.
Perhaps, I was foolish.
Nonetheless, I still venture by the crossroads where I first met you.
It seems that I've been sinking in a faucet of hope—clinging to your love handles perplexed by how cold you are when I (on the other hand) only feel warmth.
Usually,
I rely on my love for you in every sense of the word.
However, it seems that in spite of the history we've conjured meticulously, the flames of what we shared has incinerated.
I guess that's just life.
