Bridgette's POV

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My eyes widened in fear and shock. I feared what he was going to say next. He knows we fucked, he knows that I know he likes me, and he knows that I was expecting him to come over today. I stood up, wrapping the thinner white blanket around me to shield my nude body, leaving niall the bigger duvet. I couldn't think, so I just said his name.

"Evan, just hold on, let me get dressed-" I was interupted with a loud, cold laugh coming from Evan. It was bitter, I didn't know what to say.

"Are you serious, Bridgette? You fucked him when you knew I was coming? You fucked him even after I told you I had feelings for you?" He shook his head in his own way of saying he couldn't believe I'd actually do that. I couldn't look at him, I knew if I did then I'd start crying, and that's the last thing I'd want to happen.

"Evan, I didn't mean for it to happen. I, I guess I just got caught up in the moment, I'd never want to hurt you intentionally. You're my bestfriend, you know that," I breathed out, he was going to laugh and say it was bullshit or something, I know it.

He nodded and looked down, "Pretty fucked up friendship we have here, then." He looked up and nodded again, and I looked up to. I could of swore I flinched when I saw that look on his face, I never wanted to be the one to give him that look. I've seen it only a few times before, I remember last year his girlfriend cheated on him and he came to me crying, so I took him out that night and we ended up cuddling at my house after it. It wasn't weird, we've cuddled plenty of times before. Even that night when he was an absolute wreck and we saw that stupid movie, he even payed for it. I remember when I found out my ex cheated on me and I called him and talked to him all night when he even told me that it was a guys night out for him and his friends, and suddenly I felt tears brimming my eyes. He didn't deserve this, I was a fucking horrible friend. He would never do this to me, I didn't deserve him. I looked down and closed my eyes, trying to keep it together. I blinked a few times before looking back up at him. I didn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry." I hated how I said it, I sounded so vulnerable. And the truth is, I am. The one who knows that best is Evan, and I just prayed he'd somehow forgive me. He didn't say anything and I realized that it wasn't enough. "I'm stupid, I'm an idiot," And it's the truth. I'm so stupid. I always told him I was never the type of girl to just sleep with a guy, no strings attached, but I did. I couldn't say that I take it back, because I can't. "Just don't be mad at me." It was all I could get out, and I felt like he was just gonna laugh in my face, but he didn't. He nodded.

"I'm just gonna go," He finally said, in a small voice. I sighed, shivering although the room temperature was warm. Or was it that I just had sweaty sex? "See you."

And with that, he left. I couldn't believe I even did that. I tried wiping away the tears in an embarrassing manner, I didn't even want to look at Niall. But I did, and he was just looking down, I was trying to see what he was looking at and it was his phone. Really? He didn't even have the decency to help me out while fighting with my bestfriend, about having sex with him?

"Niall," I snapped and he looked up right away with a straight face. "What are you doing?" I asked. What could he be looking at on his phone that was so important that he couldn't of spoke up while the girl he just had sex with was fighting with her bestfriend?

"Texting Deana." He looked back down again, at his phone I was presuming. Is he serious? I didn't know who Deana was, but if he's texting a girl it's obvious that he only wants one thing from her.
