Separated Switch ♡

Chapter One; The Beginning

Annie pov;

"Mum it's not fair!" I scream at my mum who has her face buried deep into her hands

"Annie I have no other choice you broke the rules" she says with sadness in her eyes "you, Mia , Katie and Arden shouldn't have touched or even tampered with peanuts gym kit and you know that"

I let out a big sigh and cross my arms. Rules, why would I listen to any rules I was just having fun with my friends and no camp is gonna change my view on a good time

"Now listen Annie, you've got to leave now Steven will give you a ride" my mum says handing me my rather heavy suitcase I roll my eyes and mutter the word Steven under my breath

Steven was my mum's new boyfriend. My mum and my dad were fighting, a lot which led to them and my family being broken. But I try not to think of it as much I don't like people seeing me upset or in a bad state

"Mum I love you, I'm sorry" I lightly smile at my mum i circle my finger around her rosy pink cheeks trying not to smudge her mascara even though it was

I could clearly tell she had been crying she has been through a lot and she raises us 4 kids me, Hayley, Caleb and our adopted sister Lux

I kiss her cheek and carry my suitcase downstairs I wave goodbye to everyone and walk to the car

"Annie." Steven says holding the car door open I refused to say a single word i climb into the car and pull my suitcase in with me soon before the door closes

I gaze outside the window and as soon as i know it we're moving, and we're off.

*30 minutes later*

Tree after tree house after house and finally we reach a place with the name "Maryland State Camp" plastered on the front of it

"Here we go." Steven says awkwardly trying to make conversation, but I wasn't having it I started to play with my fingers and look outside the window again

We parked at this huge tree and I spot Katie, Mia and Arden outside "are those your friends?" Steven asks

"Uh yeah listen, I gotta go" I say I reach for the car door but Steven locks it "wait up! Annie, don't get in too much trouble I don't want to hear about how much of troublemaker you were when we sent you here got it?" He stares at me waiting for an answer

I finally give in and reply "got it."

He unlocks the door and I run out dragging my suitcase behind me I meet up with Katie, Mia and Arden and we exchange hugs and smile to ourselves

"What did I miss?" I whisper "nothing much miss Robertson is reading our cabins and roommates you missed the first set but she's reading out our cabin so your just in time" Katie replies back to me

Miss Robertson was the head of this camp she was very strict and I mean very strict once Caleb ran into her and she called home and demanded he got punished. Ruly Robertson that's what we call her

"Cabin 16" miss Robertson booms "Annie Leblanc, Katie D, Mia D, Arden M, Mackenzie Ziegler, Lauren Orlando, Jojo Siwa, Kendall Vertes" she Continues

We all smile to ourselves, we're all in the same cabin! This day was going so far so good

"Cabin 17. Delilah duke, missy James, Hannah O'Connor, Sydney Wilson, Madison Harriet, Juliet Michaels, Alaska Davidson, Daisy Poppy's and Lilly Pierce"

The bell goes and everyone is free to go to there cabins "I heard Lilly is from England!!" Arden says "really?!" Katie says "yeah she's apparently royalty but you didn't hear it from me" Arden winks we all laugh and make it to our door

"Well hopefully she doesn't get her knickers in a twist if the Maryland life is too hard for her" Mia says attempting a British accent we all laugh and enter our cabin we all sat a played games with our other roommates but one thought refused to leave my mind

Royalty at this camp, unbelievable.

Hey I'm back :) I know I took a break from writing but I kinda missed writing and when I took that break I fully understood I loved writing and couldn't just stop it all together 💞
