My life used to be perfect.

A mom that was kind, nice, and tried hard to make us happy.

A dad that was funny, hard-working, and protective.

A house that could fit us all and have two extra rooms for random things, like a guest room and an art room for me.

A garden full of flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables that I helped my mom grow.

A small tree house for me to play in with my friends.

Friends that I could rely on and trust.

I had everything I could ever want, but that all changed after...

the INCIDENT.

"Mom? What's wrong?" I asked. I was only nine at the time.

"It's all right, My little mouse. Everything is going to be all right." She says, petting my head while she was in the hospital bed. She had been diagnosed with cancer but I didn't know that at the time.

"But mommy, daddy said you were going to go away and never come back." I said. She sighed and pulled me into the bed with great difficulty. I laid on her and she rubbed circles on my back.

"Mommy will never go away sweetie. She has too much to live for." She said. She lied. Not a minute later, her heart monitor had stopped beeping and I was shoved off my mother when they had tried to resurrect her.

"Mommy? MOMMY!" I yelled when they wouldn't let me see her.

"I'm sorry but she is dead. She isn't coming back." The doctor tried to tell me but I wouldn't listen.

"She can't be! She promised me she wouldn't! She said she had too much to live for! " I yelled. They had to restrain me because I was fighting to get to my mother. I had always been unusually strong, which resulted in two security guards having to hold me back. I was screaming and throwing a huge tantrum but I didn't care, all I wanted was to see me mom. They had to strap me to a bed to make sure I didn't escape and go to find my mom. My dad never visited me during my time there. It was like he had forgotten me.

"Mr. Fenrir, your daughter has been here for a month. You need to pick her up." The doctor said into the phone, me right next to him. I heard some muffled speech before the doctor hung up and looked at me.

"Your father will be here soon to pick you up." He said and left my room. I thought that my dad would be the same, still the funny, loving father that I used to know. Never was I more wrong in my life.

My father picked me up, looking normal. We rode in the car in silence, me looking at him with sad eyes and him ignoring me. Once we arrived home, when the door had been shut behind me, he shoved me to the floor.

"It's all your fault she's gone! You killed your mother!" He said as he hit me. I was crying and shaking my head.

"No, I didn't kill mommy! I didn't!" I cried. He soon left me alone, bruised and battered. I limped to my room and hugged my stuffed fox, Kurama. Mom named it after someone she used to know but I still don't remember who. She said she had been friends with the person and that is what his name was. Apparently he had looked like a panda.

That next day, my friends told me that they were only my friends because their parents were friends with my mom and didn't want them near me now that she was gone. My father would usually beat me when ever he could. He started to drink, coming home intoxicated and drunk. I learned to avoid him as much as possible. To never trust anyone or get close to them. I shut myself off to the world and don't show feelings around my dad. I became a shy, lonely girl that was invisible to everyone. I was noticed by the kids that needed someone to spy on others. To them, I was called The Little Pipe Fox. The one that could be in the room and no one notice. The one that when she spoke, it was too quiet to hear. The one what could sneak into the smallest places and not get caught. I was the one that would sneak into other students houses to collect blackmail. I was always threatened.
