Hey guys! Sorry I've been so lazy lately. (6 weeks since I've updated MGE?! SERIOUSLY?! I need to get on that.) But y'know... I felt like a change of scenery. And so... here it is! A look into the ZanaTale Genocide run. Just one thing before we begin. This is a prequel to WTSM, and it contains a lot of potential spoilers for MGE. So timewise, it's after MGE, and before WTSM. It may actually be really confusing to read, since I haven't even gotten to the point Gaster get's trapped in the void in MGE. So, uh... if you have questions, make sure to ask me! I bet y'all will have a LOT of them. XD

~???'s Perspective~

It has happened again.

The forgotten child has managed to take ahold of the seventh soul, and has proceeded through the Underground.

It was difficult to watch.

So many dead, and with such a misguided purpose...

I have tried to stop her many, many times. From our residence in this endless void, we have had hours, days, years... perhaps even centuries to speak to one another. Time means nothing in this place. I have known Chara for an eternity...

Or perhaps only a few soulbeats?

No matter.

She is so broken... Her past has shattered her mind, and her soul is so close to following...

And yet... she refuses any attempts I give at redemption. She is hell-bent on this path of death and destruction, in the hopes that she can somehow "save" everyone from the world's endless cycle of pain and torment.

She would save everyone by destroying everything-the good and evil alike.

I must stop her. I can't sit by and do nothing as she destroys everything that my sons and I have worked so hard to build.

But... from my place here, in this prison...

I can't do anything.

I can see so, so much.

Every action.

Every outcome.

Every... timeline.

I'm omniscient. I know exactly what will happen, and how it comes to pass. Finally, I have the knowledge that I had labored so hard to uncover. I know everything. Everything.

But what good does it do me?

Trapped here, in this prison of endless nothingness, I cannot do anything but observe as the world falls to ruin time and time again...

...

This timeline... is unique, amidst all the others.

I cannot see past it.

Chara will reach her goal, and then...

There is nothing but blackness.

There is only one other timeline where this happens; where I can no longer see into their futures.

And that is the one where she-the eighth human-appears.

This is... most unsettling. Logic tells me that there can only be one cause for such an abrupt end to these timelines. There is only one explanation. In both timelines...
