I couldn't stand it anymore. Watching Tobias get beaten so when Marcus was going to strike again I jumped in front of it letting the belt hit my back.

Tris... Tris she took the hit for me. She screams out in pain. " You stupid girl." says Marcus. Now I am furious nobody lays a finger on my Tris. So I stand up and punch Marcus in the jaw hard enough to knock him out. Then I grab Tris and my shirt and run out the door." Tris what were you thinking you could've gotten hurt." I tell her while I examine her to check if she is hurt." Sorry Tobias I just could bare to see you in so much pain because I love you with all my heart!" she says her eyes gathering tears. No one has ever said that to me. I smile look at her." Why are you smiling? You just got beaten, by the way are you okay, let me take you home. Don't worry nobody will be home for a week." she says to me. We walk over to her house which is right next door. As we enter I kiss her. Who knows what will happen tonight. I kiss her with so much passion. Then as we kiss I close the door and go upstairs and we see someone there. I stop quickly stop and I see something terrifying.
