Jennifer's pov:
I was in love with this guy. His eyes were tantalizing and his smile just couldn't help me but stare. I always wish he could notice me, but I was just a normal girl, what about me would be special for him to like.......
It was just another normal day at school. He was dating this girl named Angela. She was the most popular girl in school. Class had just finished and I went to get my books from my locker. I saw him and he saw me. Of course like usual he payed no attention to me and continued walking. It was lunch. He was over at the other table, he came up to me, I was shocked when he came up to our table.
-Hey Jennifer
-Hey Dylan!!
-Um... Well... I just wanted to say that you're really hot and I dumped Angela for you.
Was this a dream, I thought.
The boys who were sitting with him at the lunch table came running. They started laughing. I was confused. Why were they laughing, and why were they here? I asked myself all kind of questions. They boys went on by saying.
-Ha ha ha! U actually thought he'd dump the hottest girl for YOU!!!
-It was a dare, I'd never dump Angela.
-Oh, um.. ok.
I was devastated. How could I actually think that Dylan, the hottest guy in school would dump his girlfriend for me!
Dylan's pov:
I shouldn't have done that dare, I shouldn't have listened to my jerk ass friends, I saw how sad she looked at the end. What did I do? And damn she was hot... But I have a girlfriend.. Oh my god, I don't know what I'm saying.
The next day at school wasn't like usual ...
Jennifer's pov:
I went to school, and saw Dylan. This time, it didn't happen like usual, he actually came up to me, said hi and smirked. I was left in shock, I just couldn't believe it.
It was biology class first. I was really happy because he was there; it was the only class we were in together. I was extremely happy that Angela wasn't in that class. Today we had to work together for a project. Everyone picked their team mates but only I and Dylan weren't with someone. The teacher told us to go together.
Was this the best day of my life or what?
Dylan had finally came up to me and we were together for biology...I'm dreaming, aren't I, I told myself.
Dylan's pov:
I was in a team with her?
She looked really happy and I don't really mind being with her either.
School finished and I headed home. Once I got home the phone rang. I picked it up and it was Angela.
We had just fought today at school and I didn't want to talk to her. I picked up anyways.
-Hello?
-Hi Dylan. I love you can we please forget about this and get back together?
-I'm sorry Angela...
She cut me off.
-Oh I knew you loved me to and were sorry for what you said.
-No Angela! I meant I'm sorry I just don't want to get back together I need some time.
-I thought you were different Dylan, you're just a jerk like the other ones bye.
I hung up. I wasn't ready to get back together with her.
Jennifer's pov:
I was so happy when I got home. I heard the phone ring. I picked it up without looking who it was.
-Hello?
-Hey Jennifer it's Angela!
-Hey Angela are you crying?
-Yes I am. I just caught Dylan cheating on me. You might think he's falling for you, being nice and all and doing things he hasn't done before but that's the way he got me and now look.
-I'm really sorry for your break-up Angela, and thank you for telling me this. Bye
-Bye Jennifer.
How can Dylan do this? Was Dylan the guy I thought he was or was he just some jerk like all the other guys?
Right after that Dylan called
I picked up
-Hey Dylan!
-Hey Jennifer I wanted to ask you if you wanted to ... maybe ... go out tomorrow night?
-After what you did to Angela you think I'd go out with a guy like you?
-I just broke up with her
-Oh and you're lying on top of it! Goodbye!
Dylan's pov:
What did I do?
Didn't she like me?
The night passed fast. It was the next day.
