Sadness

Looks like these days are unfavourable,
Me and my sadness are inseparable,
My gloominess breaks me down,
Except me, everyone seems to be happy around.

I am caught up in this net,
Sadness seems to be my asset,
Seems like I am the only one who is sad,
And that's why, my haters are glad.

Don't know the reason behind,
Sadness has taken over my mind,
My bag is full of woes,
And to lighten it up, I have to go where it glows.

But light hurts my eyes,
There on my shoulder, the burden lies,
Now, I cannot repent for my mistakes,
But I need to go home, I need to make haste.

I lie on this ground alone,
I am the only one who is to mourn,
Thinking about yesterday, my heart pains,
I am tired of waiting for happy rains.

This solitude makes me both weak and strong,
But these days of sadness seem so long,
I don't have the heart to die,
But with woes, on these thorns, I lie..
