" But who could love me? I am out of my mind "

It was Alec's first day in another school, in another town with different people. He was nervous as hell but he'd never show it. This mission was important. He knew he wasn't allowed to screw it up. And he wouldn't.

He grabbed his backpack and made his way to Beacon Hills High. It was a rather cloudy day and he hoped it wouldn't rain because he would be soaked wet. As he entered the big doors he was instantly pushed against a wall and turned, ready to shout at whoever idiot shoved him there. But he was met with a pair of beautiful brown eyes and Alec held his breath. Wow. The boy grinned at him and turned to his friend. "Jesus, Scott you can't just push people into walls like that. It's not very polite, especially when the someone is new!", he lightly laughed and his friend, Scott, seemed to shrink a little bit. "I'm sorry", he said and looked like a puppy who had just been hit. "I'm Scott, this is my friend Stiles.", he then smiled and reached out his hand for Alec.

Meanwhile Stiles was checking out the boy in front of him, who had interesting tattoos all over his body.  He also couldn't get over these eyes but was afraid he would sink into them to much and couldn't find his way out later on. Stiles didn't hear what Alec was saying and just stared at him mildly confused. "What?", he asked and was met with a warm chuckle from him. "I'm Alec.", he repeated and grinned at the pale boy. "Uh-ah", Stiles mumbled and smiled politely back at him.

It was a weird feeling Alec had when he heard Stiles voice but he just shoved it into the back of his mind. "What's your first class?", he heard Stiles ask and shrugged. "I don't know to be honest, I haven't received my schedule yet.", the black-haired boy said and Stiles smiled widely at him. "I'm gonna get it with you, if you don't mind." Scott just looked at his phone. "I'm gonna go guys. See you", he waved goodbye and made his way over to a friendly looking  girl. "Come on!" Stiles took Alec's wrist and dragged him through the crowd of people.

After Alec got his schedule, the shadowhunter gladly noticed that he had almost all of his classes with the boy that was walking happily next to him. "So, Alec, why are ya here?", he asked and Alec blinked a few times. Well, what was he supposed to answer to that? "I- I wanted to try something new. You know, be responsible for myself and that stuff.", he awkwardly said and smiled. He was a bit surprised by himself that the hyperactive boy was able to make him talk and act like that, because the shadowhunter was always rather silent and grumpy.

"I like it when you smile, it looks amazing on you", Stiles grinned and noticed the taller boy blush in a light rose color. "Thanks, I guess", he mumbled and let his fingers wander through his black hair. "So, history's first, huh?", he then said and Stiles nodded. "Yeah. I really like the class but the teachers suck.", he grumbled and dragged Alec with him again. "Here we are", he smiled and choose a seat near the window. Alec took the one next to him and let his backpack fall to the ground.

It was a okay day, Alec thought as he once again entered the big doors, ready to head home. But somebody had other plans than for Alec to walk. "Hey, want a ride?", Stiles asked as he came up behind Alec and the shadowhunter happily complied. So five minutes later they sat in an sky blue jeep that Stiles referred to as Roscoe. "She's a beauty, isn't she?", he asked and Alec thought he was joking but his totally straight face told otherwise. "Sure, I guess. I don't really know much about... cars", he said. It was kinda weird talking to this attractive guy about his car, but he didn't complain. He was happy he at least made one friend at his first day.

"How about you meet my other friends?", Stiles looked at him and the tall boy spoke before he thought. "Sure!" The answer made the brown-haired boy smile widely and he handed him a little sheet of paper. "Write your number on it, would ya?"  Alec took the paper and pulled a pen out of his backpack. He then wrote his number on the sheet and handed it back to Stiles. "Thanks"

They arrived at Alec's house faster than he thought and the goodbye was short, just a few words, a wave by Stiles and then the sky blue jeep disappeared. As if his mother would have known that Alec was alone in that moment, his phone ringed and he accepted the call.

"Alec."
"Mother."
"How is it going? Did you find something out already? You know we need results as soon as possible!", her voice sounded harsh and cold, something that had always hurt Alec, without him ever wanting to admit it.
"I am on it, mother. As soon as I know something, you will know it too."
"Good. Now back to work. I will call you again later."
"Bye." Alec only said and hung up. He sighed and made his way into his new home, which he already liked much better than the institute. He was free in this house and whatever he'd do, nobody would know.

His phone buzzed in his hand. One new message.
He opened it, only to see a text that could only be from one person.

Unknown
Hey sexy! Wanna meet at four pm at my house? I'll send u the address.

Alec grinned and immediately texted back.

Alec
Sure! see u there

He stuffed his phone back into his pocket and ran into his bedroom.  He only had black clothes. Damn it. But it suited him so he didn't complain most of the time. After he showered and changed into fresh clothing he checked his phone to see that Stiles had texted him the address of his house. He smiled and grabbed his keys to make his way to Stiles house.

He arrived five minutes early but thought it wouldn't be a problem so he knocked on the door and waited. He wanted to knock again until he heard footsteps and a loud noise. He then witnessed the many curses Stiles Stilinski knew and laughed to himself. The door was opened only to reveal a Stiles who was slightly out of breath. "Hi", he grinned and let Alec enter the house. It was going to be an eventful evening.

Alec met Stiles' other friends, which includes Scott, who he had already met earlier. He had a hard time remembering all their names, but he learned them with time. There were Liam, Mason, Kira and Malia.
He recognised Kira as the girl Scott was with this morning, but he couldn't make a connection with the others. Alec had a pretty good time and was a little disappointed when he had to leave. Even though Stiles wanted him to stay a little longer, the shadowhunter knew that he still had a mission to fullfill.
