Long Lost Sister

Chapter 07

I look in the mirror once I am fully ready for Edward and Bella's wedding. My hair is tucked into the Indian type hat. I curtsy to myself before I walk down the stairs. Emmett smiles at my choice of ensemble and we walk to the backyard. 

The ceremonial music plays and Bella's friends and family stand, along with the other members of the Cullen coven from around the world. I was placed with Benjamin, Kate, Irina, and Tanya. Emmett is with the original part of the coven, the Cullen's.

"Emmett really loves you." Kate tells me.

"I really love him." I say.

I tell her my entire story. She stares at me and Irina sighs.

"Laurent was my mate." She says. "I remember James talking of you. He was going to come to you; then that family of yours killed him in protection of the human."

"Trust me, I know. But, Emmett is my second and new mate." I smile. "I love him to pieces. I would reveal my self to get me killed if I lost him. According to the books, I can only mate twice, and this is my second time."

"Understandable." Irina says softly.

Edward and Bella repeat the vows. The kiss is beautiful. I smile before this thing gets itchy. I take the hat off and the others smile at my bright red hair.

"It's dyed." I tell them. "It's naturally the same color as Alice's."

"If you ever feel out of place, we have space in Alaska." Kate says.

"And I have space in Denali." Benjamin says to me.

I smile and I thank both of them. The wedding continues. Emmett sits on the stool and e speaks 

"Bella, I hope you got enough sleep for these past eighteen years; because you may not get none in a while."

I giggle at that and Bella's mom, Rene, walks up on stage. She sings a lullaby she used to sing to Bella. I coo and Bella blushes a deep shade of red. The scent of her blood hits me like a fist in the gut.

I smell dog as Edward and Bella walk out front. I stay behind and I keep the wedding party going. I greet Jessica, who thought Bella was pregnant because she got married at eighteen, and Angela, the smart friend.

I see everyone out after Bella and Edward leave for island Esme for their honeymoon. I hug the Alaskan family and I hug Benjamin before seeing them all out. Emmett hugs me from behind.

"It was nice of them to offer you somewhere to stay if you need." Emmett whispers.

"Yeah, I may go to Denali if I have to go, I love foreign places." I smile. "I mean, I stuck around Europe while Alice came to the states."

He nods. "I am not letting you leave, love."

I smile. "I won't leave, unless I feel unwelcome."

He holds me from behind as we watch everyone leave. We walk up to my room and we end up having sex all night. Man, I love having sex as a vampire.
