So we Meet Again

Past~2002

"Summer camp is so much fun!" my six year old voice squealed to my best friend Maybe. "I know right! We should come back every year until we are sixteen!" she shrieked back at me. I looked at her an appalled look on my face, "Why in the world would we stop coming when we are 16?!" she rolled her eyes at me, and I just stared with probably a really dumb look. "You are such a donut Autumn, when we turn sixteen we can become camp counselors." She gave me a smirk and turned around to talk to our friend Lanie.

"Ok campers, listen up! Listen up, we will be going fishing today!" Our camp leader spoke through her mega phone, "we will also be mixing age groups today so I expect you older kids to help the younger ones. Refer to the supplies list stapled to your cabin wall, get all materials that are required and meet back here in twenty." Every one dispersed to their cabins, some were happy and some seemed really bored. Me and my group of friends skiped to our cabins.

One Hour later

We finally reached the little stream we were going to fish in. It took forty minute to hike up here and I cant breath, my little asthmatic lungs could not take that much hiking. "Autumn your really pink should I get nurse Janet?" Maybe always worry's, but I was fine I just need to sit yah, that's what I needed. I shook my head at Maybe and pointed at the little ledge hanging over the river. Being six I didn't think of the possibility it could break and I would fall in to the river and that I could not even doggie paddle, so I went and sat down my feet hanging over the edge. The rest of my friends decided to go and get in line to have their lines bated. So I just sat there with my eyes closed, then I heard a scream and I blacked out. I woke up coughing and spattering in the water with a boy I didn't know, I kept bobbing up and down above and under the rushing stream. The boy looked at me terrified, he looked older about 10 possibly. He hooked his arm around my waist and started swimming and I blanked out again. I woke up coughing and spattering again but this time I was on solid ground. I looked over and saw the boy who I was guessing saved me, he looked up and his eyes got as big as a dogs paw, "OH MY GOSH! YOUR ALIVE! THANK GOD! I- I- I- I THOUGHT I HAD KILLED YOU!" Tears started to stream his wet, dirty face and his breathing was uneven. I did what any six year old having a boy screaming at her would do I started screaming. I felt a pair of hands pick me up and put me in the front seat and struggle to put the seat belt around me. I curled up and cried my self to sleep. When we got to the camp grounds I was taken to the medical tent and put on a cot. They called my Mom and Dad and told them what happened. They said it would take a day for them to get here so I would spend the night in the infirmary. I was fast asleep when I heard the curtain separating my cot from the rest move, I didn't want to open my eyes because of the steady pain coursing through me so I kept them closed until I felt something hovering above me. Startled by the presence above me my eyes shot open and I sat up, only to bang my head on the kid that had been screaming at me earlier. "AHWnggjneohf" I screamed but my scream was muffled by the kid putting his hand over my mouth. "SHH! I'm not allowed in here, be quiet!" He slowly removed his hand from my mouth and explained how they wouldn't let him come see me so he snuck out after curfew because he had to see if I was "dead". "Do you want to know what happened, or did they already explain it to you?" he asked, actually they hadn't explained surprisingly, so I nodded and patted the part of the cot I was not using. He climbed up and grabbed some of the blanket and set it over his criss crossed applesauce legs. "I'm Niall Horan by the way. What's your name?" I had to think about that for a minuet, wow I actually had to think of my name, but finale I found it. "Autumn Rivers" I mumbled softly. He nodded a little smiling and started explaining about what happened. After that night me and Niall became best camp friends, except for me and Maybe of course but she was more like my sister. Even though Niall was nine and in a different age group we would find ways to meet up and make forts and have picnics with stolen food from the cafeteria. Once when I was eleven and he was thirteen we snuck out of our cabins and met in the woods, we climbed the tallest tree we could find and stared at the stars. That was when I realized I liked Niall, but that was also the last year I ever went to camp. Since we lived in different Parts of Ireland I never got to see him again, I always remembered him and never really got over him.

Still Past~2010

One day I was watching X-Factor ,my favorite T.V. show like ever, and all of a sudden at the bottom of the screen I saw the name Niall Horan and pretty much had a panic attack, Maybe had to come over and calm me down. "Autumn! I came as fast as I could! what's wrong?" She was confused and but I had moments like this a lot fangirling moments, its a curse really especially around cute guys at school, I'm 14, in my first year of high school and the only fangirl out of the people I hang out with because Maybe goes to a different school. "NIALL...ON...THE....TV!" so yah we talked about every thing that night and then followed the whole thing. Then we became crazy One Direction fans, even though I had known Niall I didn't expect him to remember me or any thing so I never thought I had an advantage. I wish I would have gone back to camp maybe we could have at least been friends.

Present~2014

I cleared the people huddled around the person who had just fallen, all of this flashed through my mind because the person who had landed on the concrete stairs of the football (soccer) stadium was Niall Horan.Watch out every body! I know how to take care of this!" I was studding to be a nurse, so I knew how to take care of a fall. Niall had three and a half hot dogs in his hands with a coke and some candy bars, he must have been taking these things to the rest of the boys but if they were all together they would be put in a special spot, so he must be alone and trying to hide seeing how he has a beanie, hood up, and sunglasses half on (they had fallen mostly off). Blood was soaking his hair, so I took off my jacket and put it under his head for support, "Some one call 999! And hurry up." I started hitting his cheeks lightly calling his name trying to get him to wake up. "Maybe, can I use you jacket please? I'm sorry its just I need to get the blood to stop." She looked at me for a second a little grossed but started taking it off. "Of course here, is he ok?" I nodded but kept trying to get him to wake up. Finally the ambulance showed up right as they were picking him up his eyes shot open. "Autumn?! Oh my Gosh Autumn Its you its really you? I thought I heard your voice. Its really you, I've haven't seen you in years! Why didn't you come back to camp?" I was so confused and all bloody and then he was in the ambulance with the people around him, I didn't want them to close the door because I knew I wouldn't see Niall again but there wasn't anything I could do. they were closing the doors when I heard a muffled sound then the medic opened them again, "Autumn? Mr. Horan wishes to have you ride to the hospital with him." I was baffled, Niall remembered me and wanted me to go to the hospital with him, wow just wow. "Can my friend come to?" I pointed to Maybe. "No I'm sorry mam there is only room for you." I nodded and turned to Maybe, her eyes were huge and she looked like she was internally fangirling because she knew Niall meant Liam and Liam was her dream match. "Meet me at the hospital May?" She finally came back and nodded quickly, "Ha, OF COURSE!" she started walking towards the car. I climbed into the ambulance and saw Niall with his eyes half open. "Hi Autumn."
