My arms started to ache as I dragged my suitcase over giant lumps of snow. I couldn't feel my hands or my feet. I need to find somewhere fast! I came across a small park. It was a small children's park with tiny, cute, decorated slides and swings. There was even a mini climbing frame that had a beautifully painted shelter that seemed big enough for me. I knew I was going to look dumb climbing in a children's park- I'd probably look even dumber sleeping in there to be honest.. But I guess if it keeps me dry and away from the snow, it's good enough.

I dragged my suitcase a little further and plonked it down as soon as I got close enough to the climbing frame. I poked my head through the suggested 'doorway'. It wasn't as big as I suspected. I went to look up when I accidentally felt a wooden plank slam into my forehead. I cussed loudly, angrily rubbing my forehead. There was no sign of blood but I reckon there's going to be a bruise. I continued to look around when I stopped, and I'm pretty sure my heart did too. There was a massive spider hiding in the corner of the walls. It was pure black and I could clearly see it's red eyes glaring at me. The spider's legs were twitching and that was enough to set me off.

I literally screamed and hit the back of my head trying to get out! I used my left hand to hold onto my new injury and my right to grab my suitcase as fast as possible. I ran through the snow and out of the park screaming my head off and breathing loudly. Everyone around me turned their focus to me. I could feel my face heating up from embarrassment. What made it even worse was there was a child laughing at me and even a teen vlogging me! God knows how long she was doing that for! I walked off, face covered in red. At least I figured out where not to sleep.

I was holding onto the back of my head cussing more than I ever thought I would. No wonder Ashton left me. I was always acting dumb in front of him; always embarrassing him; always making him feel bad to be around me! I could feel more tears roll down my ice cold cheek. I found a nearby bench and sat by it. I rested the right side of my body on the lamp post next to the bench. It's the most comfort I've had all day. I was glad I could relax... I could slowly feel my eyes close. I didn't resist- I couldn't resist. I fell asleep and I could feel the pain leave my body. But every one has to wake up sometimes.

I was woken by a soft Irish voice. I could tell the voice belonged to a male. Slowly, the pain returned. But I guess it was safe to say not all of it returned. My eyes took forever to open or even focus on anything. Instead of it being day, the skies were dark and the only lights I could see were the spotlights being created by the lamp posts. I was right under one of them. This man continued to try to talk to me but I couldn't see him.

"Miss? Are you ok? You've been here ever since this mornin'!" I could faintly hear him say. His voice sounded sweet and bubbly. It kind of reminded me the way Ashton would speak. Only Ashton had a Canadian accent.

"Y-Yeah I'm fine..." I slightly muttered, my voice was slurred, "H-How do you know how long I've been here?"

"My apartment is literally right over there!" I guessed that he pointed somewhere. I couldn't see where, though, "When I went out this morning you were here. Didn't want to disturb you... Don't you think you should be getting home now?" He asked. I loved how kind he was being and I was on the verge of smiling until he mentioned 'home'. I didn't want him to worry about me. He's a nice guy who deserves not to get tangled in all my life's troubles.

"Uh.. Yeah... Home. I'll get there in a minute..." I lied. There was a slight pause. He stepped into the light. And my god! If I was to use any word to describe him it would be cute. I mean, I've never met a guy with green hair before but it suited him! He had a little stubble of a goatee and it just made him look manly. But I bet without it, he'd look like a teddy bear! But the best feature was his eyes! I could write about his eyes for centuries! They were an amazing shade of blue and they literally did look like the ocean!

However, his smile was tilted and he was looking down at my suitcase. He glared deep into my eyes and I was trying so hard not to blush.

"Do you have a home?" He asked. I literally felt tears building up in my eyes. I bit my lip to try to hold them back but it was no use. He tried to cheer me up. He pulled me into a hug which was unexpected, but I appreciated it. I could feel his hand on my back going up and down. Suddenly, all the cold feelings were gone and I was engulfed in his warm embrace.

"My name is Sean, but people call me Jack. You're welcome to call me whatever!" He told me. I smiled.

"Alicia,"

Jack broke the hug and held out his hand. I had no idea what he was doing but I had a good idea what my cheeks were doing!

"What are you doing?" I asked, slightly stunned. He couldn't contain his smile.

"You can come stay with me!" He laughed, grabbing my suitcase from the ground like there wasn't anything in there.

"But you don't even know me!" I raised my voice.

"I know your name, don't I?" He smiled again. His smile compelled me. I took hold of his hand and he helped me up. Before he even had a chance to walk, I practically leaped on him, and wrapped my arms around him. He laughed and wrapped his arms around me too.

"Thank you!" I whispered in his ear.
