Just a Muslim Girl

Having islam as a religion

having Allah as my lord

I am content with my desicion

and i will keep my word

to maintain a faithful muslim 

even after the twin towers fell

i stuck with the full hijab

as they damned me to hell

I have allah in my heart

and jannah on my mind

quran in my soul 

the ambition in my eyes

i have love for the creator

and hate for the oppressors

who torture my people

without any hesitation

i am just a muslim girl

who wears her hijab proud

not afraid to say she's muslim

or hide from the crowd

a muslimah in the west

with family back east

judged by how she dresses

as if she's some kind of beast

i am just a muslim girl

avoiding eternal damnation

doing as Allah has ordered

for Jannah's my destination
