Chapter 1

*Tytiana's P.O.V*

That'll be $23.44" I said as the next costumer pulled up to the window.

"Here you go" the boy said as he handed me the money. I looked up and saw the most gorgeous guy ever. I shook off my shock quickly.
"Thank you, pull up to the last window please." I said and handed him his change.

"Thank you beautiful, have a nice day." He said.

"You too" I said blushing. I sighed and sat back as I closed the window and he pulled off.

"Finally." I said. That was the last costumer for the day.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Tytiana.  I'm 18, about 5'2, brown skin, and slim figure. I just finished my last day at Taco Bell because I will thankfully be starting college next week. I'm going off to Hillside University today, an HBCU. I'm going to study  pre-law. Every since I was little I was always argumentative.

"Aye girl, let's go"
I looked up from my phone to see my best friend standing in front of me.

"Johneice!" I yelled. I hugged her tight because I missed her so much even though we saw each other just last week. Of course we're going to college together. She's studying pre-med.

"Come on girl, let's go finish packing" she said. I nodded and headed off with her. I can't wait to start this new chapter.

*Milan's P.O.V*

"Ayo next person can step down!" I said getting impatient.

"Girl I know this our last day and all, but you need to calm down." Alisha said as she started ringing up her costumer next to me. I shook my head.

"Whatever, they need to listen when I say NEXT!" I said. She laughed.

"You can ring me up anytime baby" This voice said. I looked up to see a tall dark skin guy in front of me with a snapback on.

"Um, you can ring that card up shorty pay for ya things. Thanks." I said. He smiled.

"Feisty...I like a challenge" he said swiping his card. I mugged him.

"I'm not a game sweetheart." I said. He laughed again.

"Whatever babygirl, see ya." He said. I rolled my eyes and closed down my register as he walked off. I turned to Alisha.

"Yo when we get to college I bet all the niggas go be sweatin' us." I said laughing. She shook her head.

"Girl, I know. But I'm focused on my books not little boys you know that." She said. I nodded.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah" I said.

I'm Milan, 18, light skin, around 5'3 and let me tell you every boy be on me. I'm about to start college in about a week, but we're leaving today to attend Hillside University. I'm going to be studying music/dance. I can't wait to get there and finally be on my own, with Alisha of course. Alisha been my best friend since 3rd grade and can't nothin separate us. She's going to study education.

"Girl come on Im not trying to be up all night packing your stuff" Alisha said.

"You right, let's go." I said.

We arrived at my house shortly after work. Alisha was already finished packing and was at my house helping me finish.

"Alright Milan, Prince is going to be here in about 15 minutes so let's get this last bag together." Alisha said. I nodded and grabbed the rest of my clothes. Prince is Alisha's boyfriend. His real name is Jacob, but he prefers Prince because he claims that too many people has that name. They've been together for about 3 months now. They always seem happy, but you could tell there's something wrong with the relationship.

*beep, beep*

"Oh! That's him girl come on" Alisha said. I grabbed the rest of my things and headed downstairs to the door. I said my goodbyes to my mom and dad and we headed out. He got out the car and helped us with my bags. Alisha's things were already in the Jeep.

"Hey Prince! Thanks!" I said getting fluffing his hair before getting in the car. He laughed and opened the other door for Alisha. He hugged her first.

"Hey baby" he said.

"You smell good" she said eyeing him.

"Lisha please don't start" he said. She rolled her eyes and put on a fake smile.

"Thanks...baby." She said getting in the car. He shut the door behind her before getting in the driver's side.

"Hillside University here we come shorty!" U yelled out the window.

*Tytiana P.O.V*

"Welcome to Hillside University students!" The announcer spoke.
"I am your Dean which means I could be your worst enemy or best friend." "Now today you will be moving in with your new roommates and remember this is college. So have fun, and welcome to your new journey!" He said.

"Ty! Let's go!" Johniece said. We hurried to find our room and meet our new roommates.

"I hope they're cute, but not cuter than me" I said. Johneice laughed.

We arrived at our door and opened it. When we walked in there were two girls sitting on two beds to the left. One of them got up.

"Hi! I'm Alisha and this is my best friend Milan." She said smiling. We smiled back and hugged her. Milan waved and we waved back.

"Well I'm Tytiana and this is my best friend Johneice" I said.

"Let me help you with those" Alisha said. Milan just sat there like she was studying us.

"Thank you" I said.

We decided to get to know each other before going out. This is going to be fun I guess.
