Arms folded, head pressed firmly against the steering wheel, Dean's boredom was evident, his fingers inchingly rubbing the leather interior.

"So, which apartment does this chick live in?" Voice strained by the ageing leather, Dean's rough fingertips continued to caress the material.

Stretched across the front seat beside his brother, long legs cramped up, his wide span of broad shoulders and lengthy arms spread over the top of the seats, Sam raised a brow at his brother's antics.

Rolling his shoulders in a nonchalant way, the large slope-shouldered man didn't have an answer. "No idea, man. That was Cas' forte." Sam pointed out.

Lulling his head back against the seat, unpleased by his brother's response, Dean made a show of closing his eyes.

"Now, as we lurk outside this apartment block like stalkers, I pray to the mighty Castiel to get his feathery ass down here."

Sarcasm masked Dean's frustration as Sam snorted, glancing into the back seat where the angel of question would usually appear, only to find it empty.

Sam huffed, the shaking of his head causing his glossy chocolate locks to bounce.

Tapping his leg impatiently, Dean let out a huff before giving in and opening a single eye, squinting, half expecting to find the angel silently seated in the back seat.
