The Start [COMPLETED]

Sadness

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 11,2016
We all woke up we were sore from yesterday. We needed to find more people to be with or we weren't gonna survive. We were only kids. So we started walking. I got thirsty so I told everyone to stop for I can get some water out of my backpack. When I thought how are we going to open these cans.
"Guys we forgot a can opener" I said
"Well I guess we have to walk all the way back"said Rashad.
We were all ready two streets down from my house. So we went back and found a can opener. Let's start walking to the nearest stores. When we got there we had to get into one of the clothes stores because it was gonna get cold at night. It seemed that the electricity had all ready went out so I got my phone out and turned on the flash. My phone was down to 85 percent so I put it on battery saver it was our only source of light in dark places. So we looked for big puffy jackets. When we found them we took our old jackets off and put those on. We went out and I turned off my flash. Then I shut down my phone just to make sure it lasts as long as possible. We went towards a Walgreens that was just across the street. We walked in and there were zombies in there so I told everyone to be careful. When we got inside we tried to avoid the zombies and take as many things as we could. The only things we had in our backpacks were 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of food so I told everyone to take only the essential things like food and water. Then I told them to get any sweets that they could find. When I was walking a zombie came toward me and I didn't know what to do so I just pushed it and It fell and I started running since it was dark and all I had was my flashlight I didn't see the basket on the floor and I tripped on it and I badly hurt my knee. I had no time to stop and rest. I got up and tried to find someone. I limped toward someone who I thought was Sarah but when I talked to them they turned around and pounced on top of me. I tried to get off but it just on kept getting closer I didn't know what to do so I just screamed for help. I don't know if anyone was coming.
