Signe's POV
I was sat down on the couch with my drawing pad rested on my lap, drawing a few anime characters. Sean was upstairs recording and Tig was playing beside me with Woolly. She's had this cough for the past few days and me and Sean have both realised it's been getting worst. We gave her all the cough medicine we could think of but none of it seemed to work. We decided to keep an close eye on her just in case.
About 15 minutes into my drawing, Tig started to have a coughing fit. I put down my pad and crouched down next to her, rubbing her back and soothing her. I then realised she was breathing deeply and she was wheezing.
"Oh baby." I say.
I quickly stand up and ran to the kitchen, grabbing her bottle and filling it up with cold water. I could hear her coughing from the other room.
"I'll be right there baby girl!" I shout to her.
I then ran back into the living room and continued rubbing her back and got her to drink some water. I hear Sean running down the stairs and into the room, looking worriedly at Tig.
"I can hear her coughing from upstairs." He says, crouching down like I was next to Tig.
"Awh...Tig." He says.
All of a sudden, Tig pukes, shocking me and Sean. He quickly gets up and runs to the kitchen while I sat Tig on my lap. He runs back in with a bucket and places it in front of Tig.
"Spit whatever's in your mouth Tig into this bucket." He says to her.
She begins to spit what seemed like mucus out into the bucket. By now, she was weeping.
"Shh..it's alright." Sean says, wiping the sweat from her forehead.
She continues to wheeze and it was really worrying me and Sean.
"She might have Whooping Cough." Sean says.
"Isn't that deadly for toddlers?" I ask.
He nods his head. This made my heart drop.
"We're gonna have to take her to hospital now." He says.
I sigh. I really didn't want to take Tig into hospital. She'll be frightened there. But I knew they could do something to help her get rid of this nasty cough. I agreed and we got into the car. I sat in the back with Tig just in case she was going to puke again and we took the bucket as well.

We arrived at the hospital and we parked up. Sean had brought a blanket to wrap Tig in to keep her warm. So I lift Tig into my arms, wrapping the blanket round her and we both made our way inside and in front of the receptionist. The lady looks up at us and instantly had a worried look.
"How can I help you?" She asked.
"We think our daughter has got the Whooping Cough. She's been having trouble breathing and it's getting us really worried. Is there anything you can do to help us?" Sean asks.
She nods and calls for a doctor. A doctor comes and he instantly tells us to follow him into a room with a bed and machines. We lay Tig on the bed and he quickly checks her.
"She definitely has it. Thank you for bringing her in." He says.
"Is there anything you can do for her?" I ask.
"We will keep her in for a couple of days to see if there's any progress. We will hook her up to machines to check her heart rate and make sure she's well cared for while she's here." He says.
Me and Sean nod. They hooked Tig onto many machines and got her changed into a nightie. She was given an asthma spray to help with her breathing and told us to give it to her whenever she couldn't breathe properly. The doctor leaves the room and Sean updated his social media to tell his fans what was currently happening. The fans sent heart warming messages and drew fan art for Tig, hoping she would get better soon. Tig sat up holding Woolly to her chest while coughing continuously. Sean moved closer to her and gently rubbed her back. She pukes some more into the bucket and Sean gets some tissue and wipes her mouth. Tig begins to cry.
"I know baby girl. Shhh...I know. You're doing great! Just keep spitting into the bucket." Sean says.

A few days later...

Tig was still in the hospital. Her coughing has gotten worst to the point she's now got a breathing tube. The doctors wanted to take more test on her to see how she was doing. This included injections in her legs. They allowed me to sit behind Tig and hold her legs down so they can get ready to do them. They waited until her cough had calmed down and got the equipment ready. They wiped both legs with an alcoholic wipe and had two doctors do the injections at the same time. For a 3 year old, Tig didn't even flinch when they were taken.
"Good girl!" The doctor said to her.
Tig begin to lean forwards in my arms. The doctor got a tissue and put cold water on it and wiped her forehead to cool her fever down.
"I know. It's hard." The doctor said to her.
She then relaxes in my arms. The doctor smiles and leaves the room.
"I'm so worried about her." Sean says to me.
"So am I." I say back.
"It's not good for her. She's only young. This cough could kill her." He says.
"Sean, lets not think about that. She's in hospital, in good hands. They'll make sure she's ok." I say to him.
He sighs.
"I know, it's just...I'm really scared." He says with tears in his eyes.
"Awh babe! She's gonna be fine." I say.
He smiles and relaxes in his chair.

A few hours has passed and Tig is in bad condition. She was fine for a few hours but the cough came back but was more bad. It was to the point she didn't want me and Sean anywhere near her and wanted to be by herself. She moved continuously on her bed, wanting to get rid of the cough badly. She whimpers and cries. But every time me and Sean tried to sooth her, she pushes our hands away. She pukes more and sweats more. The doctor comes in and tries to calm her cries down.
"I know it's hard, sweetie! Keep fighting that bad cough away. It'll be over soon!" He says to her.

It was night time and Tig was sound asleep. Me and Sean was sharing a double bed which the doctors brought in for us to sleep in during the nights. Sean was already asleep since he's had a rough day. I stayed awake, not wanting Tig to wake up with the cough. Everything was silent. Cars passed every now and then. I could hear the stead and wheezy breathing of Tig. Sean had his arms wrapped around my waist. I was about to doze off when I heard Tig coughing. I quickly but steadily loosen Sean's grip off me and stood up beside Tig's bed. I gently lift her up and rub her back. I get the bucket from beside her bed and put it in front of her. She pukes in it a couple of times before gasping for air. I grabbed her asthma spray and put it in her mouth. I told her to breathe in and I sprayed it in her mouth. Her breathing began to get steady. That's when I noticed....bright red blood in her bucket.
"SEAN!" I shout causing his to instantly wake up and look at me.
"What is it babe?" He asked worriedly.
He stands up and sees the blood. He slams on the button beside the bed which alerted the doctors.
"That ain't normal." I say to him.
"Something's seriously wrong with her...."
I held my baby girl close and hoped everything was going to be alright.
